I have not been to this dealership for many years, mainly because it is a bit of a distance from my home. What brought me to this dealership today was one thing. I have been a Volvo enthusiast for many years because it is a bit of a distance from my home. What brought me to this dealership today was one thing. I have been a Volvo enthusiast for many years. I have learned one thing. I have come to have a real allegiance to a specific technician, Nino Gambino. Whenever Nino makes a career choice to switch dealership that is where I go. The reason is, he is a superb diagnostician and technician, who is extremely passionate about his work, takes great pride in his performance and cares for his customers so much that some of his long term customers come to feel that they have a friend in Nino, that he watches out for their best interests. I brought my 2021 XC90 in today because a light went on stating it was urgent that the car be brought into the dealer for service. This happened yesterday afternoon. I had never had that happen before, but I knew it was not good to drive the car for any length of time like that. I called this dealer, explained the situation, and where most dealerships can make one wait weeks for an appointment, they "squeezed " me in this morning. When I got there I was greeted by Nash, the service advisor, who welcomed me, and could not have been more cordial. Unlike other dealerships, I was not treated like a second class citizen because the car was not leased from there. He agreed to assign it to Nino, and he showed me to the waiting area. It was comfortable. The receptionist was gracious and asked, along with other staff, if I needed anything while I waited. Nino was fairly quick to uncover the problem, explained that it was a software issue that was pretty easily resolved, and that he could take care of it while I waited. It did not take long and the work was completed, all else checked and I was on my way. Unlike other dealerships there was no attempt to even mention any other work needed. Though the car only has 11k miles, its not unheard of for some dealerships to look to upsell in some fashion. Not this place and certainly not Nino. I had heard that this new owner, and the new general manager had recruited the best staff to assemble their team from throughout Long Island, and it shows. If you are in the Long Island area and your Volvo needs service, in my opinion, this is now the place to go, without question. This general manager should be commended for going out of her way to put such a customer service friendly qualified team in place. More

Worst sales experience I have ever had. The sales manager is no manager, he has promised to call me back multiple times and didn’t. Car wasn't delivered on time nor was it fixed as stated to seal tge deal of the sale. These people have no regard for anything but making the next sale. The lack of follow thru was absolutely disappointing and disgraceful. Documents missed when we bought the car, then they made an appointment to bring papers out to sign and didn't show up. Delivered to the wrong address. Wasted many hours waiting on sales associates who just didn't show up. They sucked. I would not recommend buying a car from this dealership to anyone. There was a chip in the paint that was supposed to be fixed before delivery, I have to take it back in to be fixed. I have called multiple times and Steven, the supposed sales manager has promised a call back on this issue alone 5 times, not one call back. Still not fixed. The windshield had a bad spot to be repaired, also supposed to have beenfixed before delivery, took 2 weeks to get someone out to get fixed. I have never been treated so poorly! Worst experience ever. Save yourself some heart burn and go somewhere else. More
Had to drop my XC60 off to Empire Volvo to have them fix a dent and repair the glass windshield. Clint in service was excellent and kept me up to date on how long my car would take to be fixed and put me i a dent and repair the glass windshield. My recent visit to Empire Volvo was my first at this dealership, brought about after learning that my long-time, go-to Service Technician Nino had recently transitioned to this dealership from another V dealership, brought about after learning that my long-time, go-to Service Technician Nino had recently transitioned to this dealership from another Volvo dealership. Over many years, Nino has cared for my Volvos with the utmost skill and honesty, and has ALWAYS been my first choice whenever any of my Volvos required service. For this reason, I select Volvo dealerships for both Sales and Service based solely on where Nino is currently employed. On this recent service visit to Empire, I was met by Service Advisor Nash, who enthusiastically welcomed my wife and I as new Empire customers. Nash was pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable, with his significant experience as a service advisor most obvious. In all, my wife and I were favorably impressed with the welcome and service we received at this new and clean dealership and will continue to patronize it for as long as Nino is employed there. More
I worked with Dan Lohse to purchase a new Volvo after my old one was unfortunately totaled. Not only was he so knowledgeable about the car I was purchasing (xc60), but he was compassionate and extremely rel old one was unfortunately totaled.
