We went to Huntington Subaru looking for a pre-owned car. Found a Forester that we liked. We were going to pay cash, but they said to get the price we'd agreed on, we would have to finance the car. I thought okay, we'll just pay the entire thing off with the 1st payment. The salesman and the Finance manager both requested that we make several payments before doing that. The manager said the salesman gets part of his salary from the finance payments we make to the bank, and she was very adamant about us not paying off the loan right away. The next issue was that there was a small pinhole crack on the front windshield. We said we would buy it, but they would have to repair the crack. It looked like an easy job, just needed to be filled with resin, which glass places do all the time. This was on Wednesday, said we could pick it up on Friday. Then the date was pushed to Monday. On Monday, the salesperson said to come in to discuss. I asked if the window had been repaired, he said they did it as best they could. When we arrived, we saw the crack was exactly the same. The salesman said they did the best they could and if we still wanted it. Then he suggested I place a claim with my insurance company so they'd pay for it! We told him we were sorry but we couldn't take the car with a cracked windshield. He told us to wait and he went to speak with his sales manager. He came back and said they could replace the whole windshield. He said there were issues with sensors on the front windshield, but said they could have it repaired by tomorrow (Tuesday). I became annoyed, thinking if you could have replaced it sooner, why didn't you? You had the car almost 6 days. We decided to leave; we didn't like the entire process with this dealership. More
I brought in a well running vehicle for spark plug replacement as is recommended in the service manual. After servicing, the car was obviously misfiring and not running correctly. When I brought it back in for a reevaluation, I was told that all 4 ignition coils now need to be replaced at my expense. When I asked to discuss the matter with a manager, I was told that he was unavailable. If indeed the ignition coils are broken, they were damaged during removal or reinstallation in the course of the spark plug replacement. I brought in a functioning car and am now out a few hundred dollars and have a broken vehicle. More

My experience with Huntington Subaru was great. My expectations going in was of doubt but leaving was well satisfied. I was greeted comfortably and the sales person was very knowledgeable of all My expectations going in was of doubt but leaving was well satisfied. I was greeted comfortably and the sales person was very knowledgeable of all models. I was kept informed throughout the process including the dreaded financial part but was made at eased. Unfortunately given the most rude, arrogant jerk of a salesman to assist with a slam dunk deal. This would be Dillon Graham. If you are seated with him, run. We walked out due to some shady numbers and the fact that they chose to run someone with an 800 credit score earning $100k through some third rate auto leasing company rather than a real bank. After walking out we bought the car at Empire in Hicksville actually getting more car for less money. More
