I came into Empire Nissan on 8/9/24 to see if they can fix my driver side door that stopped opening , and to see if it was covered by the manufacturer's warranty. It was a 2022 Nissan Sentra, quite newish fix my driver side door that stopped opening , and to see if it was covered by the manufacturer's warranty. It was a 2022 Nissan Sentra, quite newish. Evelyn Carrasco was my advisor,who was very professional and seemed genuinely willing to help me. 20 minutes later her tech came back and the tests showed the door lock actuator was malfunctioning, and it was covered by the manufacturer's warranty. It was easily fixed by the next day. Meanwhile, I got a loaner and the rep Natasha was polite and efficient. I was very happy with everything- the wait was reasonable, and everyone , from the gentleman who waved me into the garage, the techs, even the associates taking a break outside who told me where to park when I brought my loaner back the next day were extremely polite. I hope the service manager, the owner of the dealership, and Nissan reads this. I have driven Nissan cars forever, starting with my first car, a Datsun. Imagine when a door failed on me. It was unheard of. I have driven several cars, my wife and the whole family, and this has never happened, especially to a new car! I had originally taken my car back to where I bought it, Pinebelt Nissan, where the waits were always long for my oil changes, and where they "fixed " my door issue. The service manager there made me feel like it was my fault, and even the logic of a door failing on a new car, the rarity of it, didn't make him consider a manufacturing issue. They "fixed" the problem, but a few weeks later the door stopped working again, and I considered going to another Nissan dealership, Empire Nissan, to see if they could help as they were close to where I work. And they did! Now I am a fan. They restored my faith in Nissan, and the fact that true customer service still exists! I will buy my next Nissan there and will go to them for basic services and maintenance from now on. Thank you, thank you! More
