Salem was very honest and helpful. He made me feel comfortable and at ease with the stress of buying a used car. I have bought 14 cars in my past and this was my FIRST used. From the minute I walked comfortable and at ease with the stress of buying a used car. I have bought 14 cars in my past and this was my FIRST used. From the minute I walked in and he greeted me with a genuine smile and handshake. I felt no pressure from him about purchasing a car that day if I wasn't approved for the one I REALLY wanted. I actually left the dealership and turned back around to make the deal which I have NEVER done in the past. He smile again and welcomed me back and assured me this was the very best deal he could get me. In the mean time he offered my husband and I lunch and drinks while we waited to be seen in financing. Because I lived in another state and could not take the car home that day he was willing to bring my "Valentine" to me at my work a few days later. While he was driving my new...used car he noticed something minor wrong and made me an appointment in Service for that very week to get it taken care of. I drove back up to NH from Mass. and he met me on his day off with a bagel and drink. Who does that?? Awesome saleman and ABOVE AND BEYOND! I am very satisfied with my new addition to my family! I love my Mini Cooper Valentine!!! Nicci More
Great company for anyone needing a quality vehicle. Salem was great and presented me with several options in my price range. These people are liars! Everything the salesman said turned out to be a lie and when questioned about it, he came up with some fuzzy math and excuses to try to cover it. I went to look at a car adverti turned out to be a lie and when questioned about it, he came up with some fuzzy math and excuses to try to cover it. I went to look at a car advertised on their website. The year of manufacture was off by two years and the mileage was off by 8,000. When asked about this, the salesman said they couldn't be responsible for those inaccuracies. It's THEIR site with details supplied by THEM. When I asked the price of the car; I was told that that the price on their site was actually $2,000 less than the cash price. I was then told that the price of the car is set by the finance company and we wouldn't know the real price of the car until I told them how much I wanted to put down and what my credit was like. WHAT???? My down payment and credit history might affect the interest rate on the car loan, but the price of the car is the price of the car. IT should be on the window or sticker. I got up and left as did several other potential victims while I was there. More
I can verify what others have said about this dealership. My wife and I spent about two hours at EAG looking at a Subaru advertised for around 8k. When the salesman finally tallied up our payments, they were My wife and I spent about two hours at EAG looking at a Subaru advertised for around 8k. When the salesman finally tallied up our payments, they were $450 for 54 months! Being English majors, we calculated the true cost of the car on her cell phone. The 8k car – with 2k down – would end up costing $24,300. I still don’t understand all of the math they fuzzed, but some of it involved the scheme of advertising the vehicle for 8k with an assumed 2k down. The dealership would then “match” that number, meaning the real cost was 4k higher than the advertised cost. I believe they also tacked on a warranty of around 2k, but it still doesn’t equal out. Terrible people. Just terrible. It makes me embarrassed to be a capitalist. More
The people there were winners at heart. You walk in there greet you with all kindness but then when you get down to what you need they sure dont help you. The Employee there who helped us( No need for names) greet you with all kindness but then when you get down to what you need they sure dont help you. The Employee there who helped us( No need for names) Was a kind hearted young guy but he needs to get his cards in a row. what i mean is he tells you one thing then the next he has no clue whats going on. I had better luck up the street from them. So if you want to waste your time and get charged way to much go there but if you dont want to go to another place where they take the time and effort to help you out.. Bottom Line EMPIRE SUCKS!!! support@dealerrater.com More
They used every sales tactic, switch and bait, added pricing above advertised priced, stalled, played good/bad cop. Would not recommend them to my enemies. Do not go here, they are scam artists. These guys are are worthless. They advertise a price for one amount then when your suckered in there they tell you oh thats the Wholesale Cash price. If you are not buying in cash then they tack on an extra one amount then when your suckered in there they tell you oh thats the Wholesale Cash price. If you are not buying in cash then they tack on an extra 5000 to the price. Needless to say I went to go look at a Used Mercedes and the Salesman told me that I need to look at a cheaper car... Funny thing .. I bought the same model, year mercedes with Less mileage and a lifetime warranty ... STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP More
