I would like to say i bought my car here last year that was a very fast experience and they low balled me on my trade in. Secondly Kyle the service manger is one nasty human being! I hate that i have to deal with him everytime i get my car fixed. he is so rude and terrible customer service. My extended warranty is set up to go through them first when i have a JEEP! you would think you would go to jeep not ford to get your car fixed. He said well you can’t fix it and there’s nothing you can do and just nasty. i will never recommend this place i hope someone talks to him and gives him a lesson on customer service! I paid 40k for my car so i feel as i should get some better service! also i have had not so pleasant interaction with finance as well too long to keep going on and on’ DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE! More
Made an appointment to get new tires and an oil change. We brought our vehicle in to get a check engine light diagnosed, they could not provide a reason or fault for the code, but instead tried to have us pay for add-ons that "might" fix the issue. They refused to properly troubleshoot the issue to determine what was causing the error, instead it was a guessing game. The service manager made it clear that this service department does not care if the customer is satisfied, they only want to collect your money. We will not be coming back. More

We have purchased numerous vehicles from EG Ford and we will always be back! We are treated like family from our car buying experience all the way to the service department! We recently had one of our trucks in for service with Louie Puno as our service advisor. He was top notch and made sure we were taken care of to the fullest extent in a timely manner. I would recommend anyone to utilize their knowledge and level of service from regular vehicle maintenance to full size repairs of any kind! Grateful for my Elk Grove Ford Family! More
Took my company fleet car in for recall issues that caused my Ford Fusion to become inoperable. They stated Ford does not offer replacement vehicles for the recall issues. What doesn’t make sense is...why would you not offer replacement vehicles if the recall causes the car to not be drivable??!! Must be a quick fix. They just can’t get to it for 3 days. Also, I had my car towed there and dropped off before 8am and they did not call me until 5:30pm, only after I left a message for them to call me. I still have not spoken to a service advisor! I will never bring my fleet car to Elk Grove Ford again. Nor will any of my 6 other Ford fleet cars be brought there! More

Once with the Fleet sales, I NEVER heard back when trying to find & buy a truck for our business, I called multiple times. I suppose they don't want to sell their trucks. That was in November & December of 2019. Today, I called the service department to try to purchase a key duplicate key for a Ford F350, I was told I had to speak with the Fleet & Diesel department... they told me they needed to schedule an appointment to get the duplicate done, they would call me back in 15 minutes to schedule. 2 hours went by, nothing. I called them back because since that specific truck was not in use today and if they had an opening, I wanted in. If not, I would have needed to set it for a weekend appointment since the trucks are normally in use during the week. I was told by Matt that he had just spoken with the scheduler and she would call me to schedule in 5 minutes, she had just gotten in from wherever. Ok... I waited... It's been over 2 hours and still no call. I looked up a local locksmith shop and was given all the information I needed over the phone, they have the key I need in stock, and we can walk in anytime we would like, no appointment needed, it should take them about 10 minutes to do. More

Lots of Excuses I took my 2018 Ford EcoSport to Elk Grove Ford for several warranty issues (this is after almost 1 year of driving and 3,00 miles) so I could determin I took my 2018 Ford EcoSport to Elk Grove Ford for several warranty issues (this is after almost 1 year of driving and 3,00 miles) so I could determine what warranty issues I needed to have checked: (1) The radio frequently resets itself to AM and requires me to re-select the radio station source, and the audio settings will not “save.” The immediate response from the Service Representative was that “Ford Warranty will not pay for the time needed to troubleshoot a problem – only to repair the problem. As it turned out, the radio station problem did not happen at the dealer, so they did nothing. The problem happens about once each week, but they tell me I have a bumper to bumper warrantee for 3 years – how will that help me if they will not troubleshoot the problem? (2) The rear window washer shoots a stream of water on the rear window (not a spray as the front windshield washers “spray”) – demonstrated to the service representative – their answer – we checked another EcoSport on the lot and it does the same thing, so there is no problem. One of my complaints was that the transmission shifting seems sluggish, and they had the Service MANAGER ride on a road test – before the road test, he remarked that the vehicle only had less than 3,000 miles on it, and he told me I need to drive it more – the car needs to be driven. I do not need anyone telling me how to drive my vehicle and there is nothing in the FORD manual that demands that I drive my vehicle a specific number of miles. The Service MANAGER suspected that the problem with the radio was related to the battery voltage dropping to a certain percentage because of the engine turning itself off and re-starting at stoplights. Seems like that is something they can check and confirm or…find the real cause and correct it. During the road test, the Service MANAGER asked me if I bought the vehicle from Elk Grove Ford – I said NO because they quoted a price that was more than $2,000 higher than what I eventually paid for the same vehicle with the same options. I plan to write a letter to this dealership and Ford HQ to let them know that making excuses to customers who take time from their day to schedule appointments for warranty work only reflects badly on the local business and FORD. Simple answer: Troubleshoot the problems, Fix the problems, and stop making excuses! The result will be happier customers who trust Ford and your dealership! More
