Six faxes were sent to dealerships in our area, stating what we were looking for in a new Ram 1500. We bought a 2013 Dodge Avenger. Our whole experience was very good. Bob Mayorga was our sales associate and he was very friendly and informative. I hate buying vehicles, they are expensive and only go down in value with time. So the thought of having to buy another truck was not going to be a happy day for me. I talked with Cory and he was mor down in value with time. So the thought of having to buy another truck was not going to be a happy day for me. I talked with Cory and he was more interested in making sure I was going to get the truck I needed than just trying to close a deal. Great to find someone who's a good listener. So it was down to the wire on whether to go with GMC or Dodge. Obviously Dodge won. Over a few days Cory worked with me to narrow down all my options and then found the perfect truck for me. Other dealership's lack of professionalism made me want to go out of my way and make the 3 hour drive just to get my new vehicle from Elk Grove Jeep. Usually when we leave a dealership, there is a lot of disapointment, regret, and just unhappiness about the purchase. This time was far different from that. From the website, to the phone calls, and then meeting the sales person at the dealership, everything was so much better than all those other time together. First I have to say the website is very user friendly. Most sites don't show prices and force you to call for them, not here. You can do all your research then call for your questions to be answered. When we met our sales rep, John Benton it didn't feel like we were buying anything. the whole process was so low key it almost felt weird. I will and already have recommened this dealer to everyone I hear looking for a car. I will return to Elk Grove Dodge for my next car purchase. We initially talked to Jeremy when we were researching a new car for my mother-in-law. Our circumstances were unique, but Jeremy, Gordon and Steve went above and beyond to make this happen. My mother-in-law was coming up from Bakersfield to purchase the vehicle and we all worked together to get the loan approved and processed remotely for her. When she arrived to pick up the vehicle on Friday the 31st of August, she opted to purchase a few additional items for the vehicle (Teflon coating and alarm system). While I am sure that it is normal practice for an appointment to be made at a later date, every scrambled to make sure they could get her new car completed that day since she was going to be driving back to Bakersfield the following day.
