The service department is well run but, sales is not good. I am happy that you have improved service it is running much better than in the past. Great Gave me a time my car would be ready and it was. Very comfortable lounge with coffee, tea, water, cookies, popcorn. Restrooms close by. Regular car Maintenance on April 28, 2016 On April 28, 2016 at 1:45 PM arrived at Eddy's Toyota parking my car in the bay area with me not having a scheduled appointment so taken to Christen On April 28, 2016 at 1:45 PM arrived at Eddy's Toyota parking my car in the bay area with me not having a scheduled appointment so taken to Christen who processed my car for regular mileage maintenance as is at 50,200 miles in which Christian informed me that would have regular maintenance but is due for tire rotation and fuel injector to be completed which I ask Christian to have done then Christian explained the time frame of 2 hours to be completed with me saying I would wait in their lounge until finished. Within 30 minutes Christian came to lounge explaining to me that both air filter needed replaced with me saying go ahead then Christian explained the maintenance check was good explaining that tires are still good for at least 10,000 to 20,00 more miles before needed to be replaced, brakes are good and fluids topped off and would get when was finished. An hour after I arrived my car was completed with me being totally satisfied of work complete on my car. Christian was very polite, courtesy at all times, explained completely what had to be done letting me tell him what I wanted which was all, he kept me informed of the status of the maintenance and thanked me for choosing Eddy's Toyota and to come back and at what mileage. Christian is a great asset to Eddy's Toyota in which he goes above and beyond in making sure I only got what I wanted and followed in a rapid fast processing which satisfied me making me feel great. Christian is an outstanding employee at Eddy's Toyota being a role model for others to follow. Thank you Christian assistance at this processing. I will be coming back and will inform others of service received at Eddy'd Toyota. . More
Unauthorized work We purchased our first Camry from Eddy's in 1998, and our second in 2004. We have always had our maintenance/work done here and have had few problems with the service department. Yesterday I brought the car in for a routine oil change, and was shocked to see a $70.83 bill! I was told that the price included a tire rotation. This was done without my authorization, which did not make me happy. I cannot remember EVER having unauthorized work done on our vehicles at Toyota. In times past we have had our tires rotated at the store where we purchased them...what if this had been the case in this instance and had a needless tire rotation done? My suspicions are ever growing stronger that there is pressure on the service center to get as much work done on a vehicle that can be done. We are re-evaluating where we might have our car serviced. More
Service is pathetic. On March 29th of this year, my sun visor on my 2008 Camry wouldn't stay up. There was an "extended warranty" for this product issued within the last y On March 29th of this year, my sun visor on my 2008 Camry wouldn't stay up. There was an "extended warranty" for this product issued within the last year so I went in to have them replace the visor. (FYI, this is the second visor I have had replaced for the same issue. The first one was only two or three years after purchasing the car and before there was a "KNOWN" issue.) When I went in for my appointment, I handed them the letter for the extended coverage. They looked up the information and saw that I had purchased the car on March 8, 2008 and the warranty was only for "7 years since for usage". Because I missed my 7 years by 21 days, they refused to cover the replacement. I explained that this was the second one, so it really hadn't been 7 years, but since I had purchased the part and installed it myself, there was no record anywhere. Needless to say, I left WITHOUT having the work done. I'm now looking for a visor somewhere other than Eddys to replace myself. I will never go back to Eddy's again unless I have to for recalls. More
Looking for a new car me and my husband went to browse on what different cars we were looking into. We went to eddies and test drive a SUV when we got back to the building we asked the rep for his business card, he immediately tried to force us to buy the car, kept on throwing up more and more deals when we proceeded to tell him no we we were not interested in buying. He even proceeded to get his manager who did the same thing, tried to throw deals at us to buy! We told the guy we would come back and would come to him personally when we were ready to buy and the rep told us that he would not be there if we don't buy the car today because he would be unable to meat his quota for the month!!!!! VERY unprofessional to make a customer feel pressured to buy a car from a dealer ship like that! I have never had that happen before so I was shocked and had not words to say to this man. He finally gave us his business card and we lefted and HAVE NEVER been back!!!! And don't plan on returning! More
Wonder about there work. Went to take my new car in for its 5000 miles check up and was very surprised. I saw my car sitting out front while smoking and walked towards it and Went to take my new car in for its 5000 miles check up and was very surprised. I saw my car sitting out front while smoking and walked towards it and noticed something hanging from it. I went over and looked and it was a 2' stick that was in the front fender area wrapped around my brake line. A few minutes later I was told my car was ready. Looked at the paperwork and they said they did a tire rotation and a safety check. I asked the person how they did those and left a nice stick hanging from my car and he couldn't come up with an answer. I left pretty mad. I waited a bit to cool down and called Eddy's and talked to a manager in the service area around lunch time. I was told she would look into it and I have not heard anything back and it's been over 10 hours. Wonder if they even did the work they said they did. Update: I finally got to talk to people at Eddy's. I will be talking my car up there again when I'm in the area to have the work verified. I feel a little better about this problem. I was informed that the people who worked on my car are no longer employed at Eddy's any longer. More
