After doing some online research I saw good things mentioned regarding using internet sales departments. I decided to try it with the purchase of our vehicle and was very happy with the process. I contacted two dealers - Eddy's Toyota responded by e-mail and the other dealer called me. I proceeded to negotiate with the Eddy's Toyota sales person by e-mail and then did final negotiations in person as we discussed trade in value. I was pleased with our purchase at this agency. It was as painless as car buying can be and staff were responsive to our concerns and questions. Having had a horrible experience with our hometown dealer, the experience we had at Eddy's was a welcome change. When asked about the Tacoma and Eddy's, I gladly relate our pleasant experience and staff service. Should a car need arise in the future, we'll start at Eddy's. But until then, we will gladly share our experience with those who ask. More
This dealership engages in false advertising. The advertisement on the web site for the 2013 Tundra clearly stated that the special was 0% financing for up to 60 months PLUS $6,000 cash back. When I advertisement on the web site for the 2013 Tundra clearly stated that the special was 0% financing for up to 60 months PLUS $6,000 cash back. When I went to the dealership to purchase a truck they would not honor this special that was on the Eddy's Toyota website. They claimed that it was a "mistake" and that they never intended to offer both 0% financing PLUS $6,000 cash back like the advertisement indicated. I told them my take on this was that I believed they tried to get people to come in and buy a Tundra under false pretenses. A car dealership as big as Eddy's Toyota must have people that check and re-check all of the ads so that they don't make a "mistake". At any rate, they should have honored the advertised special for me since i pointed out the "mistake". Nope. Nada. Basically they told me to take a hike. I hope that a complaint to the BBB and Kansas Attorney General Consumer Protection Division changes their minds. More
