Don’t buy a car at kingdom Kia in Rolla mo I purchased a 2017 Kia Optima with only 16,000 miles on it(march 2nd). I was pretty exited and confident about my purchase. 3 weeks later my optima br I purchased a 2017 Kia Optima with only 16,000 miles on it(march 2nd). I was pretty exited and confident about my purchase. 3 weeks later my optima broke down and I had to have it towed(March 28) back to the dealership. I Expressed to them I wanted a new car I wasn’t comfortable keeping the vehicle because it broke down and it hadn’t even been 30 days. Damon the manager told me he couldn’t do anything for me and that my car was fine because they couldn’t get it to reperduce what made it break down. Finally after complaining Damon said he’d call me with answers by Friday night the 30th. I still haven’t heard from these people. And they’ve had my car for almost a week. More
Not Happy When I got to the dealer at 9:00am when they opened, no one greeted me, couldn’t find anyone. Had to go to the cashier office to ask if they could find someone for me. They paged someone I asked about a car I saw online , they said it was still available and they went to pull it around. I waited and hour and a half. Finally they came and got me for a test drive. They told me that I can’t drive the car because it kept dying. I said that I had driven 3 hours to test drive the car. They said they would have the service department look at it. An hour later I finally got to drive the car. Loved the car. Made the deal. I got ready to leave after purchasing the car and I noticed a warning light on the dashboard. I asked my salesman about it and he said it was on because it was raining. I trusted what he said and drove home. The car drove fine all the way home. When I got home the warning light was still on and there was a message on the dashboard that said battery saving mode and when the car was turned off with the doors locked the dashboard lights stayed on. I proceeded to put my battery charger on the battery and it said the battery was very low. I emailed the dealer and they said they would make it right. You only get one chance to make a first impression. This why I hate buying a new car. I hope someday that car dealerships can change the way they do things and treat the people that keep them in business , the way they would like to be treated. With honesty and integrity. More
