I worked at a Chevrolet dealership in Colorado for 33 years as the Controller and Corporate officer. Our owner never missed an opportunity to engage a customer and absolutely INSISTED every employee do t years as the Controller and Corporate officer. If an employee did not greet a customer and offer assistance - they were given a talking to - and one more chance. When at your dealership recently I roamed the showroom for 15 minutes - and only the receptionist gave a cursory glance and a "hello". I passed 5 or 6 salesmen - some on their computer - some talking to other sales people - not one bothered to stop what they were doing and acknowledge me. We are very new to Muscatine so I am willing to give "Ed Morse' one more try. More
