Dylan was very professional, made the process of buying my new car stress free. Went above and beyond to explain everything from starting the vehicle to signing the paperwork. When we came in to finalize the sale, there was a scratch on the door which hadn't been there when we test drove the car. When we asked Dylan what could be done about the scratch, Dylan first responded with on the door which hadn't been there when we test drove the car. When we asked Dylan what could be done about the scratch, Dylan first responded with a) cars are priced to condition, and b) "they'll see what they can do," "maybe they can buff it out," or if they have matching paint "paint the scratch." He even mentioned he'd pull it into a particular bay, presumably to ascertain and/or treat what could be done. Paperwork completed; Dylan drives out of the garage to the showroom where we see nothing has been done about the scratch. I am very upset and asked Dylan "Now what?" Dylan replied "maybe someone from Cicero can come down to look at it" as if elevating this to the home office would help as they are able to fix the scratch or the situation. My alarm was escalating since realizing we just signed paperwork for a car with a huge scratch and were not told before signing the paperwork that ZERO action would be taken to remedy the scratch, Dylan ran to get Will. We explained to Will that Dylan had mentioned possible "buffing out" and it obviously was not done. Also, told Will that Dylan mentioned the option of someone from Cicero coming to look at the scratch. Will responded with a) cars are priced to condition, and b) "We don't offer those services." and that "He [Dylan] shouldn't be saying that." Finding out those services are not offered after the paperwork was completed is not just a deliberate misrepresentation but also ruined an otherwise great moment of buying a car. We find it utterly appalling that some young salesperson thinks it is okay to make such misrepresentations unabashedly and repeatedly to senior citizens just to sell a car WHEN THE SIMPLE ANSWER WAS JUST "NO." Is this the type of sales practices EchoPark condones? What will be done about the scratch on our car? I could never recommend this dealership after this horrible experience. More
