I really like the business idea of Direct Car Buying, I think it's time that buying a car is no longer a hassle. I have always been worried to go to a car dealer, and get pushed into purchasing something I think it's time that buying a car is no longer a hassle. I have always been worried to go to a car dealer, and get pushed into purchasing something I am not so sure about. Buying a car should be easy and worry free, with guarantees. Do you buy a piece of furniture that costs thousands of dollars, but not able to tell its quality? You shouldn't have to do that with cars either. Not only their advertised price was the best on the market I could find, there were no hidden fees or issues during completing the transaction. The staff, particularly David and Sean were very professional and courteous, test drive the car on my own and provided me with details of the history of the car and its carfax report. Most importantly, I was allowed to make the purchase decision on my own, without trying to influence my decision. They were right, the car was such a good buy, it needed no convincing. I highly recommend to anyone that's looking to buy a car without having to spend the whole day battling the salespersons for an affordable price and listening to all the crazy extras they want to sell with the car. I went and got exactly what I searched for online, and no more no less! Thank you Direct Car Buying! More

We had never been to their showroom, so we made an appointment to see a specific car on a Saturday afternoon. The dealership gave us a reminder/confirmation call at 9am, Saturday morning. We confirmed our appointment. As we were driving from Arlington/Washington, DC border to the appointment in Sterling, we called to double check the address for our GPS. The person answering the phone didn't give us the address right away but asked why we wanted the address, we explained that we had a 2pm appt. (it was 12:15pm) and we needed the address for the GPS. The salesperson asked our name and appt time and put us on hold. He came back on the line to ask if we were going to on time to the 2pm appt. We assured him yes, but we needed the address, in order to get there. He gave us the address. We arrived 40 minutes early. We were greeted. Asked for our driver’s license for verification and so we could test drive the car. We were asked to log onto their computer program to sign in for our appointment in the waiting area. As we were doing so, there was a couple waiting as well in the waiting area. After checking in, we were lead outside to the car by the salesman. The couple from the waiting area was walking ahead of us. They were lead to the car that we had made an appointment to see. As we approached the car (we were not 6 feet from the car) the sales people asked us to wait and let the other couple in front us look at the car and they were going to take it for a test drive first. We asked if they had an appointment to see the car. The salespeople (by now there are 3 of them), tried to explain that the couple had come several days ago, looked at the car, they now had financing and stopped by to see the car without an appointment. And if they choose not to take the car, then we could test drive it and decide if we wanted to purchase it. And the one salesperson mentioned too, he had someone coming at 6pm to see the car in question as well. I asked if the couple taking the car had an appointment. They said “no”. And we were left standing there on the sidewalk. I told the salesperson that it wasn’t right to allow a customer to make an appointment, and take a “drop in” over the schedule appointment holder. I was told it was first come, first served. Why have appointment/scheduling, if an organization is going to business that way? The sales people had no answer, and asked us if we wanted to wait to see if the couple decided to purchase the car. I was completely dumbfounded by the lack of customer service and professionalism by the staff at Direct Car Buying in Sterling. I have purchased cars from2 different CarMax Dealerships successfully in the past. I know how this business concept is suppose to work- The company- Direct Car Buying was a huge disappointment, a complete waste of time and gas. This experience showed me how little they about the customer and their lack of customer service. Ironically, they didn’t even have the professionalism to apologize for the lack of customer service and wasting our time on Saturday. More
Purchased a 2011 VW CC Sport and this was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had.Everyone was very friendly and knew exactly who i was and why I was there as soon as i came in. I was looking to replace my Land Rover Discovery but could not decide on what to get next when my husband ran across a listing for a Lincoln Navigator that caught his eye. I filled out an application for it on DCB's website and got a callback to confirm my information so they could have all the paperwork ready when we came to see the car. Dave greeted us at the door and introduced us to Alan, who took care of us while Dave finished up the financing. The Nav was waiting in front of the lounge, which we had all to ourselves. We did a test drive, arranged insurance, signed the paperwork, and were all done! Price was exactly as advertised, no crazy dealer fees, just tax and a super low processing fee. No haggling, no pressure, no stress. My husband was so impressed with the experience that he wanted to buy another car from them right then! We will definitely be looking for our next vehicle here again! More

I had very awesome experience buying my car at DCB. Alan, Sean and Dave were very professional answering all my questions and carrying out the sales process. Initially I stopped by DCB just to see what it was about. Originally I was not really in the market to buy a car, but you never know. I met Alan and got the low down on the company concept. Out on the floor was a Jag XF, I had to check it out and of course drive it. The car performed great and the price was right but I wasn’t really in the market. I thanked Alan for his time and said I’d be in touch. Two days passed and I received a follow up call from Alan. I asked if I could have the car for a few hours to have Jaguar check it out. Jaguar performed their 250 point inspection and certified the car a good buy. I returned to DCB ready to purchase the car. I thought the process was going to take an hour or two, however Dave and Sean had me back out the door in 20 minutes. To top it off, I now had two cars in the parking lot, the Benz I arrived in and the Jag I just purchased. Sean, being the nice guy that he is, agreed to follow me in the Jag back to my garage. The entire process was very stress free and everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend DCB. More
I visited this dealership sunday afternoon for a car i checked on their website, the car was in a good price and as i am getting close to buy it suddenly the gentleman from the dealership came to me say checked on their website, the car was in a good price and as i am getting close to buy it suddenly the gentleman from the dealership came to me saying that there is a gas leakage in the building, the fire fighters will be here very soon and we have to leave which was awkward because there was no alarm announced at all. He escorted us then he went back to the building we waited outside but no fire fighters showed up. He said he will call me tomorrow morning he never did , so i called him he said he will call me back and he never did. Long story short, i checked the price next morning it was around $4000 more. I try not to judge but This is there business module More
Came in having never heard of the dealership; so a bit skeptical. Staff was friendly and very easy to deal with. Alan was very helpful and non-pushy when we came in to look at the Audi A5. Great price even though it is a no haggle price dealership (definitely beat other dealerships by far thought). All in all, super happy with the process and staff as we did come in with our own financing but Sean was also on hand to handle our paperwork. Test drove and had no problems and ended up purchasing that day. Looking forward to future purchases with DCB and will definitely recommend to others!
