I had a great experience with Eastchester Dodge dealership. Micheal was very helpful in getting me into a brand new Charger. If he didn't go above and beyond I wouldn't have gotten it in a timely m dealership. Micheal was very helpful in getting me into a brand new Charger. Best car buying experience ever ! I've purchased several new cars before and have never liked the process. It was very different here. From the moment we walked in everyone was friendly. He took us around and showed us all the different jeeps they had. He answered all our questions and best of all he was very laid back. I never felt any pressure from him. I had just come from another dealer who told me that he could not give me his "best price" unless i was willing to purchase a car today. No such pressure from Nick. Like i said he took care of us and demanded nothing. After we saw all that we wanted we sat down to talk price. I had done my research on the car and had what i believed was a fair price in my mind. Well Nick came back with and even lower price. Deal was completed 5 minutes later. A day later i decided i wanted another option with the car. i called Nick back an explained to him what i wanted. He told me he would get back to me with a price. i fully expected him to call me back and tell me the MSRP price. Well he called me back and gave me the price that KBB and Edmunds had listed as "dealer cost". Again i will say best experience ever buying a new car. More
I was called after submitting an internet request for a dodge grand caravan by Felicia, asking to set up an appointment as she had the car I was looking for with the added options (Dodge Grand Caravan R/T dodge grand caravan by Felicia, asking to set up an appointment as she had the car I was looking for with the added options (Dodge Grand Caravan R/T with driver convenience group, safety sphere group, DVD, and NAV system). Upon arriving and being greeted by Robert, I was told they didn't have that car, but he would show me cars that were comprable and do his best to get me the same price I had been offered by Felicia. I wound up in a town and country that was missing the options from the grand caravan safety sphere group (normally standard in the touring L, but not on my car with a sticker credit for those options of $1100), but had a third row DVD. As far as I can tell, the rest of the options are the same. I am happy with the car and thought Robert was helpful and friendly. I was happy enough with him that I asked him about possibly purchasing a new car for my husband in the future. I rated the customer service a 4 and not a 5 because I feel as though I was lied to in order to make an appointment. They didn't have the car I was told they did. I can't say I would have ended up in the bronx otherwise. I rated the price a 4 because my sister purchased the same vehicle as mine (with a sunroof and the options that were part of the dodge safety sphere group) with the same $5k savings I received here on Long Island. Also, not knowing much about the Town and Country (only knowing the options and packages for the Grand Caravan), I relied on what I was being told was in the car rather than doing a full comparison myself, and I wound up with a car missing something that was important to me in exchange for something not so important (the extra DVD screen), and not even aware that a sunroof was an option in a town and country (not available on the grand caravan, but always important to me to have when available). Overall, aside from the amount of time the transaction took (I have never walked in to a dealership, bought a car, done the financing, and walked out with a car all in one visit, so I didn't know it would be 5 hours)with my 2 year old and 2 month old with me, it was a good experience, I am enjoying the car, and I have learned to do a little more homework before making a final decision (i.e. knowing available options). To start off I was looking to purchase a SUV of some kind so i figured that I would stop here since I read nothing but good things about them. For starters every time that I had to enter the building I sp so i figured that I would stop here since I read nothing but good things about them. For starters every time that I had to enter the building I spent 3 hours or more waiting with them always telling me it will be one minute. Seems that they don't want anything to do with you until you are ready to buy. The sales staff is not knowledgable of their product new or used being that i had to correct them a few times on different items. I was told stories just to get the vehicle sold to me to later find out that nothing was true with the vehicle. And it also seems that no one wants to come forth and correct the situation since the vehicle is already sold. dealing with some one the people there also seemed as a bother to them. i could go on and on about things but after spending another 8 hours in the location dealing with them i dont have the energy to really narrow down everything. There are plenty of other jeep, dodge, and chrysler locations that you can go to that would take care of your needs better. I would not return to this dealer to purchase another vehicle (my wifes lease is almost up will be looking else where) nor would I ever tell someone to waste their time here. More
