I am a first time owner of a new 2011 Hyundai Sonata. I must say, my short experience with the Hyundai has been nothing but GREAT! My reason for this review is not about the car but about the three ( well must say, my short experience with the Hyundai has been nothing but GREAT! My reason for this review is not about the car but about the three ( well four ) people I have delt with to this date. First, when my wife and I walked in to your dealership we were met by Sales Consultant Al Marshall. Great gentleman! With Al, there was no pressure, professionalism and enthusiam/knowledge for the product. The Sales Manager, Sam, was honest and direct in his final negotiations leaving me, the buyer, feeling good about the purchase. Since ownership of the car, I have had two service calls. Both calls dealt with service advisor, Jennifer Snyder. Jennifer has gone above and beyond what would be expected in a service tech. She has been courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and willing to please in both visits. However, my last visit on June 28, 2010, dealing with Service Advisor, Steve Smith, was disappointing. He was discourteous and detrimental to a dealership trying to build a clientele. I left without getting the service I was there for and had to wait for Jennifer to come back and set things right. I would like to also acknowledge Chuck Kusse, a contract painter to Avondale Hyundai, who went out of his way to resolve the situation caused by Steve Smith. Good experience. As I was just getting over surgery, they brought all the cars that fitted our wishes up to the front door so we could see them without me walking so much. Well, what can I say. JR was very nice and friendly. There was no bate and switch - just honesty. I came for a new car and I left with a new car, its the 2011 Sonata, what a car -- I am so very happ There was no bate and switch - just honesty. JR had what I wanted and took me to the back to see it, and there it was -- I saw it and I said that is it. Done. JR did everything for us, we got a very good price, and the exact car we wanted. We did not want add ons and JR made sure we didn't have any of them. We received fantastic customer service and a great deal and the car I wanted -- what more could you ask for. Even after the purchase we received great customer service with JR following up to make sure all was ok, with just one issue and that was taken care of immediately. Again -- what can I say? I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for honestly and professionalism. They have it and much more, and if you go there, you will see that I am right, just as for JR, your personal service advisor. Well, thats what I call him, he is actually the internet manager of the dealership. One more thing, ............ when it comes to knowing this car and how everything works JR knows it and he demonstrated every feature to us and even set it up. Is this above and beyond? Car salesmen get a bad reputation for pressure selling.........this in not the case with Avondale Hyundai. Bob, the general manager, came out after we had sealed the deal to find out how my experience went. I was impressed and really happy with the entire transaction. If you are looking for less BS, then this is the dealership for you! This is the only dealership I have ever been to that doesn't haggle with people all day over numbers. Oh, and if you are looking for a nice vehicle (after all that's what your paying for) I have to say that I am still impressed with my new car! We recently went on a road trip from Arizona to Colorado with our new 2011 Hyundai Sonata and averaged 37 MPG!! That is incredible highway mileage!! I was so impressed!!
