This is the second time my truck has been in for service where I have had to go home and touch up chips in the paint. SECOND TIME! I meticulously look it over before taking it in for service so I know if ch where I have had to go home and touch up chips in the paint. SECOND TIME! I shouldn’t have to fix paint chips on an $80k vehicle after getting it worked on. I understand the paint on vehicles today does not have the durability as what it did many years ago; however, I do believe the technicians should take enough pride in their work to ensure they are using covers or blankets when working near ANY painted surface.
