I WENT TO FOLGER KIA FOR A NEW CAR AND BRIAN PURSER WAS FANTASTIC HE WORKED WITH ME FOR MY KIA FORTE 5DR SX. BRIAN PURSER KEPT IN TOUCH WITH ME TILL THE CAR WAS FOUND. MY PROBLEM WAS WITH MANAGEMENT IN T FANTASTIC HE WORKED WITH ME FOR MY KIA FORTE 5DR SX. BRIAN PURSER KEPT IN TOUCH WITH ME TILL THE CAR WAS FOUND. MY PROBLEM WAS WITH MANAGEMENT IN THE FINAL PRICING. I REALIZE WHEN THEY HAD TO OBTAIN THE CAR FROM ANOTHER DEALER THEY LOSE A LOT ON INCENTIVES FROM KIA. HOWEVER, I ASKED TO SPLIT THE DESTINATION THEY SAID NO, I ASKED TO SPLIT THE DOC FEES THEY SAID NO, I ASKED LIKE SOME OTHER DEALERS WERE OFFERING TO GIVE ME A LIFE TIME WARRANTY ON THE TRANSMISSION THEY SAID NO AGAIN AND FINALLY I AKED THEM TO GIVE ME A 5 YEAR WARRANTY ON THE ACCESSORY PARTS INSTEAD OF THE 3 YRS AND THEY SAID NO AGAIN. I HAD SPOKE TO KIA DIRECTLY AND THEY SAID THAT IS UP TO THE DEALER. IF IT WASN'T FOR BRIAN PURSER BEING REALLY GREAT IN MY DEALING WITH ME I WOULD HAVE GONE TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP. I WILL REPORT DOWN THE LINE WHEN I HAVE TO DEAL WITH SERVICE ETC IN MANTAINING MY CAR HOW I WILL BE TREATED. THE MANAGEMENT TEAM KEPT TELLING ME THEIR AFTER MARKET IS THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS. WELL LET ME SEE AND THEN REPORT TO YOU. THIS WAS THEIR EXCUSE IN REFUSING ALL MY ATTEMPTS IN LOWERING THE OVERALL COST OF THE CAR. My car buying experience at Folger Kia South left me speechless!! I went in “hoping” to come away with a plan in place to buy/lease a used vehicle within the next couple of weeks (all that I thought I speechless!! I went in “hoping” to come away with a plan in place to buy/lease a used vehicle within the next couple of weeks (all that I thought I could afford – I had nothing to trade in since my car was “totaled” in an accident the week before). Jackson Goodwin was friendly, patient, honest and understanding – he showed me some used vehicles like I requested and also showed me some new vehicles and let me know that there were some programs available which might allow me to purchase a new vehicle instead of leasing/or purchasing a used one. He and Marcus Payne were able to work it out and I left that evening with a new 2010 Kia Optima (fully loaded) with payments only a couple of dollars a month more than what I was previously paying. Jackson has contacted me since my purchase to make sure everything is o.k. and from beginning to end has been quick to respond to any questions I might have. Jackson met us in lot and was very personable. He showed me and I my husband several KIA's. We decided on the Forte. He was very knowledgeable about this particular car. After the papers were signed and we had our new KIA Forte, Jackson drove us home and has called several times to be sure that we are happy with our new Forte. Yes we are very happy with our choice. Your survey only has a GREAT rating but my husband and I would rate Jackson as excellent and an asset to KIA South. This is the second KIA we have purchased from KIA south and the first purchase was not as enjoyable as the present purchase.
