Service Department was very helpful and friendly. It was a good experience all around. I brought my car in to have some repairs made before my warranty ran out. This is the third car or truck I've bought from Sal and Durand. I bought a minivan from another salesman at Durand many years ago. The best way to describe Durand in general and Sal in particular is that they treat you like family (in a good way). I'm a car guy type and Sal knows that when I shop for a car or truck I'll have a ton of questions and will have my homework done on pricing, colors, options, etc. I have ordered the last two vehicles (2011 Cruze LT2 RS and 2008 Colorado CrewCab Z71 RWD) to get exactly what I wanted. Sal has been very helpful in keeping me informed on order status. Delivery of a new vehicle is always a great day. Sal will go through what I need to know and not in a checklist way, but in a way to point out features, etc. like you would use them so I'll remember later. On the financing side, Joe worked hard to get a great rate. He got a local bank to match the GM discount rate which was a win/win. Paperwork went quick and Joe didn't pressure me to buy extended warranties or extras. He just gave me options to consider and let me decide if I wanted any of the choices. All in all this was a pleasant, low pressure experience. Durand isn't the biggest dealer, but they always prove themselves to be the best. Having them close by is a bonus as I don't have to drive far for service (which is also excellent and rated separately). More
My Colorado was fast approaching the 36K mark and end of warranty and also needed an oil change, so I scheduled a visit for a bumper to bumper vehicle check and oil change. These visits in the past have found a few items to fix while the vehicle was still under warranty. Nothing came up as needing repair and the check and oil change were done in under an hour while I waited. It's always easy to get an appointment a few days ahead of time and both service advisors will get the vehicle in and out quickly if you're waiting. Price is competitive and Durand sends out coupons regularly to save on common services such as LOF and $10 wildcards for other services. They honor competitor coupons too. More

I've bought 3 cars here and get all my service here. I've bought cars at 3 other dealerships but never receive the same level of honesty and sincerity as I do at Durand. I hate buying cars. This time I was giving up a car I liked (time to go) and wasn't sure what make or model I wanted. Dean was patient in giving me the time and attention I needed and was very helpful in my decision making process - no hard sell at all. I was particularly happy when testing a used car that he validated my observation that it seemed very loud. I've had other salespeople deny my experiences. Once I decided to buy a new car, Dean introduced me to the owner. After getting home, I called Dean and asked for a different color. He made that happen with no fuss at all. When I went in to pick up the car, he introduced me to people in service and the office, which helped me feel comfortable for future dealings with Durand. I went in to Durand after seeing some of their used cars online. Sal came right over, let me test drive some cars and talked openly and honestly about them. I had one problem with the car, left a message for Sal, he called me right back and brought me over to service. They got everything fixed under warranty. I truly appreciate everyone's honest, friendly approach. I never once felt pressured, in fact I felt like they were on my team! I highly reccommend anyone buying a used or new car to stop by and give them a shot. They have a great selection of cars at really great prices. Even after the sale, they had everything ready for me the next business day and they took the time to make the car look new. What a great attention to detail. More

However, I can get that service elsewhere for less cost. re: name of Employee worked with -- I'm sorry, but I don't remember. However: as you face the service desk there are two people; my service person was to my left. I know from the automated telephone system that their names are Josh and Dave, but I don't know which is which. re: all categories -- I asked for two items in addition to the LOF, to have my personal tire pressure gauge checked for accuracy and to have service do a test drive to see if they could detect slippage in the transmission. Both additional services were performed, and Josh (or Dave?) gave me a thorough report on them, also discussed tire wear, in a very friendly, helpful, and informative manner. More
