My trade in was SO EASY (meaning I didn't have to detail it before they'd make an offer or even before transferring it over) and I got a great trade. Leo made sure I knew how to operate all the new widgets and even provided his cell for future questions. As a single mom, I was purchasing with 3 kids in tow and he worked hard to get paperwork underway to shorten my purchase processing time. All in all, great experience! More
Buying Honda CR-V My wife and I were greeted by Product Specialist Rick Hardy, We explained that we were just starting to consider a new Honda CR-V and asked to test dr My wife and I were greeted by Product Specialist Rick Hardy, We explained that we were just starting to consider a new Honda CR-V and asked to test drive two models. After driving, Rick explained the Duncan approach ... firm pricing to avoid the typical "car sales haggling", Product Specialists are salaried, not on commission, etc. I mentioned to Rick that we wanted to check out comparable models of Toyota Products, and that was really the plan until I asked Rick, "Has the Toyota dealership switched to the no commission model?" Simple answer: "No", but Rick said it in such a professional way so as to not discredit the competition. Bottom line: After hearing that and receiving a very fair trade-in offer for our Honda Pilot, the deal was done! It gets better ... We went to lunch while Rick was pulling together the purchase / title documentation. When we returned, Rich very straightforwardly told us that when he was driving he CR-V back to have it prepped for us, he noticed a sound in the blower fan. Long story short, Duncan provided our old Pilot as a "loaner" (since all the paper work for transfer was completed and signed), ordered a new blower, and within a few days, we were driving a new CR-V and delighted! PS: Duncan Honda service is terrific, too. Our sons went to school with some of service professionals at Duncan Honda, but that was not why we took our '07 Pilot there. Everyone on the service team has always treated my wife, who drove the Pilot and took it in for maintenance, in the most professional fashion. In effect, Service is truly part of the sales team. More
