Tried to Purchase a Truck I had found a truck on carsgurus.com on August 12th. Mike Williams and Steve Albaugh immediately contacted me on August 12th to set up a time to come I had found a truck on carsgurus.com on August 12th. Mike Williams and Steve Albaugh immediately contacted me on August 12th to set up a time to come and see the truck. I explained to Steve that I lived in Williamsburg and needed to come on a Saturday, which would be August 15th. Steve set up a time on Saturday for me to come and see the truck. I called the morning of the 15th and let them know the traffic from Williamsburg to Suffolk was terrible. I spoke to the receptionist and ask to speak to Steve. She could not locate him. I explained to her that I was running late. I also told her that I was looking at the specific truck. She said to keep coming and if Steve could not help me someone else could. It took me almost 2 hours to get there. I pulled up and a sales lady offered help. I told her I was here to see Steve about the truck. She told me the truck was sold last night and Steve was not working today. I told her that I called over 2 hours ago and the receptionist told me to keep coming. She never said Steve was not working nor was the truck sold. I pulled away very angry that I had wasted so much time in the car and gas. I called the dealership and spoke to the receptionist. I told her that I asked to speak to Steve and never once did she tell me he was not working nor was the car sold. I asked to speak to Mike at this point and low and behold he was not working either. I told her that was horrible business practice. I left a voicemail for Steve and emailed both Steve and Mike to let them know my disgusted with how they treated a potential customer. More
