I wanted to see a car they held that was listed on Auto Trader. The salesman responded promptly and said he would have the car ready for me. It was not ready. They showed me a newer pricier car and suggest Trader. The salesman responded promptly and said he would have the car ready for me. It was not ready. They showed me a newer pricier car and suggested a test drive while they found the car I wanted to see. When we returned, the car was not on the lot. They said someone had the car. They instead showed me a trade in car, dirty and not what we wanted. A few days later they called and said the car was now on the lot. We went in and test drove the car. I bought the car. They proceeded to charge additional things I did not want or need. Once they removed those and gave me a fair price on my trade in (after I pointed out features they had ignored) the car came home with us. I do not recommend this kind of behavior from a long time local dealer. I would not go there again nor would I recommend them to anyone. I was not going to submit a negative review until they asked me three times. More

I requested my Handicapped Plates be transferred to the new vehicle purchase. I was reassured by Kayla Dean, who did the paperwork including the DMV license plate transfer form that DMV would send me my new auto registration having the handicapped license plate number on it. This did not happen. Within two weeks I received the new vehicle registration containing the prior owner’s license number on it. I immediately went to Downtown Ford and asked Kayla Dean to look into the issue. She asked someone from the accounting area to present herself to Kayla and me. She admitted that a mistake had been done but that “THE AUTO WAS MINE AND IT WAS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO DEAL WITH DMV MYSELF!” I was shocked at her response. One of the conveniences of buying a car from a dealership is that they handle the DMV paperwork. Her first name starts with a ”D”. I am positive that Kayla can verify this. Kayla helped me fill out another DMV form to transfer my old plates to the new truck. She sealed it in an envelope and said she would mail it. Today is August 10, 2020 and I never received the adjusted DMV registration. I had to go to DMV and seek correction myself which is difficult thing to do doing the Covid-19 crisis. I will NEVER buy a vehicle from Downtown Ford again simply because of the treatment I received from your Accounting/DMV section. More
DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE.I was quoted $16,600 for a DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. I was quoted $16,600 for a certified 2017 Ford Fusion Energi Luxury SE, upon signing paperwork the number had changed to $ DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. I was quoted $16,600 for a certified 2017 Ford Fusion Energi Luxury SE, upon signing paperwork the number had changed to $17,500. I spoke with the sales manager Moises Crisanto about it and he called me a liar and said nobody quoted me that. When I told him he was the one that did it he told me that it was not him that quoted me that number. He had printed out the quote for me actually and although he wouldn't let me keep the paper, I took a picture of it. When I told him that his name was on the paper he then changed his story and said that he was quoting me for an entirely different car, but that was a lie too as the quote had the car I was purchasing on it with everything from the stock # to the VIN. I ended up buying the car anyway and upon having it inspected elsewhere I was notified that the front bumper had damage and was cracked underneath; something I hadn't noticed when initially walking around the car, and I didn't think to look as the CARFAX showed no reported damage to the vehicle. To see if the damage had been previously documented, I went to look for the 172 point inspection form that was to be included with all of my paperwork and found they did not actually provide it to me. Upon returning to the dealership to figure out what my options were, I was met with animosity and being told I was SOL. The General Manager Charles Dean also told me that I was the one that damaged the vehicle. The two managers ultimately ganged up on me in the parking lot when looking at my vehicle and literally yelled at me about my temperament while the GM waved his finger in my face aggressively, and told me I have 'tiny man syndrome' when I told him to get his hand out of my face. I told them that my temperament wasn't the issue and that I've been given nothing but grief while trying desperate to just not get ripped off, and since the GM hadn't been present during the quoting fiasco, I notified him of it at that time and he said they can throw around whatever f***ing numbers they want until a contract is signed. They told me they won't do business with me anymore which I'm pretty sure to some degree violates the 2 year servicing contract that I got when purchasing the vehicle. I also later recalled that I had taken pictures of the vehicle prior to buying it, and when looking at them I found that the damage was in fact preexisting to my purchase. When looking at the True Market Value of the vehicle at Retail pricing with the damage, I was appraised at $14,781. $2,719 under what I paid. All I wanted was for them to work with me on options to right the wrong, and all I received was 2 angry old men yelling at me and posturing me in a parking lot. DO. NOT. DO. BUSINESS. HERE. More

Multiple Times Back For Certfied Ford I bought my 2013 Focus in June. It was what i was looking for low mileage, 5 speed, black on black w/ leather, appearance package and MFT w/ 10 speak I bought my 2013 Focus in June. It was what i was looking for low mileage, 5 speed, black on black w/ leather, appearance package and MFT w/ 10 speaker system. Had the car for 3 hours before I realized loose heat shield, cracked dashboard near the window, oil light on, headlights wont turn off, and bad motor mount. All fixed after a week and a half. Two months later clutch is burnt up, the car leaves family and I stranded 100 miles from home. Other Ford dealers had the car for 3 days drove 20 miles and said nothing is wrong. Brought it to David Hall at Downtown Ford, he called the next day and said the clutch was burnt up they covered the clutch under warranty since i had the car less than 4k miles. 6 Months to the day i took delivery of the car and the battery dies. I didn't get the battery at Downtown ford. But after 2 weeks my O2 sensor went out. At the time writing this i only have 32K on the ODO. However David Hall is my service adviser at Downtown Ford and he is one of the only representatives i will deal with at Ford. While the O2 was fixed he even gave me a loaner vehicle to drive. Now that i have an adviser that I can trust, I will be bringing in my Bronco, Escape, and Ranger for them to work on as well. More
