Picked up brand new 2025 Ford Escape 4/19, use the car wash 5/12 and a corner roof panel flies off. It’s held on by tape! Other side panel is loose too. Go right to dealer and service 5/13, told to hang o wash 5/12 and a corner roof panel flies off. It’s held on by tape! Other side panel is loose too. Go right to dealer and service 5/13, told to hang on to the part so “we don’t lose it and we don’t want to pay for a new one” and then I’ll get updates “hopefully” until parts come in to fix. They leave the other corner panel on loose. No apology from sales or service to date. No follow up from sales or salesperson Pablo. Incident gets reported to Ford, no follow up. They refer to service and dealer, while the service agent said “it came from Ford like this. 5/18 go through car wash, lose the other side corner panel on the roof, again the tape failed, shocking. I call service to report this 5/19, rep says “I see no order for any parts” and that someone will call me back in the hour. It’s now 5/21…crickets. No accountability, no follow up. Brand new car with big holes exposing the roof. This is insanity for anybody. My 3rd car buying experience here, it will be my last. I’ve had Ford always, this will be my last time. I love some of the old sales agents, but it’s no longer the same. They clearly only care to push out stock. Save yourself the headache. More
