The piece protecting the motor underneath the car was totally damaged. I went back to the dealer and Saili saved my day. She took care of my car instantly. I even had a cortesy car while mine was getting fixed. Thanks Saili. More

Stay far far away!! Worst service ever! Terrible terrible terrible service! Rid yourself of the bad time. Don't be a fool!! I was involved in a very minor parking accident with my Acur Terrible terrible terrible service! Rid yourself of the bad time. Don't be a fool!! I was involved in a very minor parking accident with my Acura, and I left them my car thinking that the dealer would be the best place to fix my car. They assured me that their authorized body shop will paint the back quarter panel perfectly. l After a very uncomfortable 2 weeks without my car I go to pick it up and my car is in disgusting conditions. They attempted to turn the car into me in worse conditions than I left it. The paint was dripping and tearing was evident, parts were left unpainted. The car had a significantly large scratch on the front bumper that I know for certain wasn't there before. The back bumper had a splotch of paint on it (don't even know why they would need to apply paint back there when the paint job was only needed in the back quarter panel. This leads me to believe that they damaged my car and attempted to cover it up). The car also had several small scratches throughout. Also, the smell of toxic chemicals inside the car was unbearable! Just by opening the car door you could get light headed from the nasty chemical smell. The seats inside were dirty with a white cement-like substance. Overall a complete disaster. Needless to say I didn't accept my car back in those conditions. I don't appreciate businesses that try to trick me and that think I'm stupid enough not to notice their poor work. I find this insulting!! The dealer claimed there was nothing they could do and that I had to wait 2 days to speak with the body shop because they are closed on weekends. After expressing my complaints to the very rude manager, Ruth, she was very unsympathetic. They provided me with a loaner vehicle for the weekend. However Ruth claimed that there is no Acura loaners available at all so she needed to give me a Volkswagen. They picked out the ugliest Volkswagen that they had that was all scratched up on all 4 corners. I took it because I needed a vehicle badly. Now that I drove it I realized that this car isn't safe to be driving around. It accelerates by itself. My trust with Esserman has been shattered! This loaner vehicle doesn't even have the "courtesy car" lettering on it like the others do which leads me to believe that this might be a vehicle that is in their "defective" lot. Overall avoid this dealer. The vendors will just sell you the cars and then hide and then won't pick up your calls. The managers are rude and unsympathetic and make it seem like they are doing you favors when in reality you are the one paying for your services. The regular servicing takes forever. Their authorized body shop is total garbage and extremely unprofessional. Avoid this dealer and avoid the headaches!! More
Service rep turn a neg to a positive. I have always taken my cars to Esserman Acura. I own a TL and whenever I need a service, I do not think twice to take them in for any minor service. I have always taken my cars to Esserman Acura. I own a TL and whenever I need a service, I do not think twice to take them in for any minor service. I recently took my TL for an oil change and Yany was great and helpful. She asked me about my previous experiences and i told her how dissaponted i have been for the way Acura has been resolving what I believe should be a recall due to a high quantity of cars with the same problem. She immediately listened to it and she promptly act suggesting possible alternatives. I proceed to talk to my adviser Saili and like always she handle it very professional. Later on Yani came back to give an update and to ensure my concern was taking care. Excellent customer service; Yani... Now, Im in the process to wait for an Acura decision. Thanks Yani for your positive attitude; you did know how turn someone neg situation to a possitive just with your interest to help and possitive attitude... More

Acura TL Service Review I have been a loyal customer of Esserman International Acura in Doral since 2013. I have a 2004 Acura TL and have been extremely dissatisfied with my recent service visits to the dealership. My vehicle has an excellent on-time maintenance history with the dealership and I am deeply saddened that I have to write this in frustration. I just picked up my vehicle after bringing it in to have the rear wheel checked for smoking, squeaking and vibrating while driving. I have a pretty solid understanding of vehicles so before dropping off the car we had discussed the issue in detail with my service advisor. They of course did their diagnoses and as I had expected and discussed with my service advisor, found an issue with my rear left caliper and they repaired it for a hefty charge. I raised concerns to the advisor about the rate I was getting charged since I thought I was a “loyal customer” and he said he would look at my service history to see if they could apply a credit to my account. What really disappoints me about Esserman is that, my rear brakes had been worked on by their service department on 03/13/14 and this was a pretty costly visit because of other repairs and I am back again paying yet again another visit to get my brakes repaired again. On that same visit on 03/13/14, the service department mentioned that my power steering pump was leaking and they had to re-seal and also, my front passenger door lock was malfunctioning so we agreed to address all the issues since I use the vehicle for vacation travels. From this visit I must say that I started experiencing reliability issues with my Acura. Firstly the front door lock actuator assembly was replaced but immediately, my window started malfunctioning while opening or closing. Something was not properly set during the repair and it causes the window to scratch while rolling up or down and sometimes it completely fails to roll up so I have stopped using it. Not only that! I took a drive to Ohio a few months after the 03/13/14 visit and unfortunately the power steering pump that had been repaired failed in Atlanta, GA about 800 miles from my destination. My nightmare was just beginning. I managed to drive slowly to get to Ohio and called Esserman to bring this issue to their attention after taking the vehicle to a reputable Honda dealership who confirmed the pump failure. Esserman would not cooperate with the Honda dealership and asked me to find an Acura dealership. I got the vehicle to an Acura dealership who again confirmed the pump failure but Esserman could not arrange to get the pump repaired. I incurred the expense to replace the pump which Esserman later reimburse several weeks after returning to Miami and providing the service invoice from Ohio in person. There was no consideration for the inconvenience. On 04/04/15 I brought the car in for regular service and front brake replacement. I had requested to have brand new pads and rotors but I was assured that resurfacing the rotors would make the car drive like new again because there was still a lot of meat left on the rotors. That wasn’t the case since I had to bring the vehicle back because the brakes had developed serious pulsating especially at highway speeds. They tried to resurface the brakes again to no avail and I have accepted to drive the vehicle with the pulsating issue. On 11/06/2013 I was in for regular service and mentioned that the car was hesitating to start so I asked to check the battery. They checked my battery and suggested that I replaced it so we got that replaced. A few months later I was in for an oil change and when I go the vehicle back to drive home my engine light came on. My transmission started shifting rapidly so I had to bring the car back in for service. On my way back, there was a very loud explosion and a lot of smoke coming from under the hood. When I opened the hood’ the fairly new battery had exploded. I walked over to the service department to get one of the service people to take a look at what had just happened. I watched him rip apart my battery cover as he worked his way to get to the battery. The vehicle was started and driven to the service bay and an electrician was called to scan the engine codes and noticed several electrical malfunction codes with some transmission shift failure codes. I asked for a new battery cover to replace the one they had ripped but they didn’t have one in stock so I am still driving with a loose broken cover from that day. I declined to leave my vehicle with them that day and later noticed some greasy liquid that had been spilled on my transmission shifter and assumed that was the cause of the electrical malfunction. Regardless, I still don’t understand why they would bring oily fluid inside a customer’s vehicle. The fluid has since dried out and the engine light is gone but the Automatic Sports-Shift mode does not work anymore on my vehicle. After writing to their customer service department I received a call from one of their customer service managers. While I really do appreciate that at least they took the time to read my frustration, I am not sure what to make from the phone call. The manager offered me a $100.00 credit to use on my next service visit or on a purchase on my next Acura through them, LOL! They also offered to order the battery cover they broke on my next service visit to their dealership. For the current issues with my vehicle from Esserman’s prior repairs, I will have to drive the vehicle with pulsating front brakes, malfunctioning front window and inoperable automatic sports-shift mode until I can afford to pay to get these issues repaired again. Judging from the cost of my prior visits to their service department, I guestimate at least a few thousand dollars to repair the vehicle before the $100.00 credit offer from the manager. I think I will save Esserman their hundred dollars and take my business and frustrations to another dealer. More
