I found Esserman staff to always be helpful, knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy, qualities not often found in a dealership and in service providers. I believe their focus on customer service is a company priority that starts from the top down...It is displayed with whomever I have interacted with at Esserman. Kudos to your entire team! More

I now bike to work. Thanks Esserman Acura! Esserman Acura suggested a transmission flush for my 160k mile car. Sadly, I had done no research and just accepted the "service" My transmission has Esserman Acura suggested a transmission flush for my 160k mile car. Sadly, I had done no research and just accepted the "service" My transmission has now completely failed, the clear culprit: EA's irresponsible suggestion of a transmission flush for a car with high mileage. The lesson: no flushes if you can't service the filter, as ATRA states. Do other local authorized dealers suggest a transmission flush on a 160k mile car? Nope, I came to learn afterwards. On top of it all, the rep suggested I perform a $1000 engine mount replacement as "alternative" repair. The general manager's suggested compensation? A $200 discount on an Esserman car. Double face slap! Now I bike to work. Thanks Esserman Acura! More

Terrible Experience I was at the dealership last Thursday and purchased a vehicle for the first time. I went into the dealership clueless because I've never purchased a car before, expecting to be helped out. When I got home, I reviewed the contract and realized that I didn’t get the terms I thought I did and unfortunately I wont be able to afford the vehicle. I went back this morning and tried to return the vehicle. I spoke to a gentlemen in finance who had helped me out the day I got the car and was told that the only option I have would be to sell the car back to the dealership or trade it in but I wont get down payment back. I let them know that I lost my job yesterday as well and it would be impossible for me to afford the car. I asked to speak with the general manager and a gentlemen named Sergio Yanoco lied and said he was the GM, then told me that there is absolutely nothing they can do for me. I had no other choice but to leave the car in the lot and give my keys to them. I am extremely upset and cannot express enough how terrible customer service was. More

Disappointed with service I took my ACURA RDX in for oil change and tire rotation. They told me it would take 90 mins. After sitting in the waiting room for over 2 hours, I fin I took my ACURA RDX in for oil change and tire rotation. They told me it would take 90 mins. After sitting in the waiting room for over 2 hours, I finally got up and asked if my car was done. Turned out that my car was finished a while ago and no one told me it was ready! In fact, it was washed and the water was already dried on the windshield when I finally picked it up!! Maybe there is a better way to let the customers know that the car is ready and not have the customer wait for no reason. I know it can be busy in the garage however the customer should come FIRST and should be treated as such. I fell the the cracks and if I didn't ask about if my car was ready, I would still be there waiting! No one told me my car was ready, it was parked away in the garage and It was forgotten about! I travel an extra distance to get my service done at Esserman. As a loyal customer since I bought the car, I would expect better. Maybe next time I will have my car serviced closer, like at Firestone, where when the car is ready they let you know right away! Very disappointed with the service at Esserman Acura this time and will probably not come back. More
Service too Expensive The service advisor was excellent, she follow up and took care of my requests in a very professional way. But the shock came with the amount for the r The service advisor was excellent, she follow up and took care of my requests in a very professional way. But the shock came with the amount for the repairs. The diagnostic was a frozen caliper which took me by surprise because only 6 months ago the front brakes were fully serviced with new parts including the calipers. When I did the repairs the cost of the parts were about $370.00 and the labor about $300.00, total $670.00 for the 2 front brakes. You guys quote me $999.00 which is too expensive. I could not justify paying almost $300.00 more than the customary price so I decide to take the losses of my $140.00 diagnostic fee. It was a shame than no negotiation are allow since the car was already in the dealer for repairs. More
