This is an absolute GREAT dealership! We were most fortunate as we walked into W.H.Dodge late one evening and met Joe Gagnon (our Salesperson). He is like one of our family and we will recommend Winter Haven Dodge and Joe to all who ask where we purchased our beautiful, eye catching, outstanding 2010 Jeep Sahara. Just recently we had a problem with our seats and I could not get the repair person (an outside of the dealership warranty repair shop) to understand our work schedule situation. I placed a call to Joe and within 30 minutes it was completely taken care of and he even rented a car for our use while the repairs were being completed. WHAT A GUY! We really appreciated his kindness, understanding, and attention in taking care of us. We will be looking at another new car within the next 12 months and we certainly will go directly to Joe. More

The morning of October 22nd, 2010 I broke down in the middle of I-4 with my 2 month old son and my dog. I really had no idea what to do as my husband was currently stationed in Afghanistan for a year and middle of I-4 with my 2 month old son and my dog. I really had no idea what to do as my husband was currently stationed in Afghanistan for a year and a half, I was on my way down to visit my parents house in Fort Myers which was about two hours away so I was stranded. My car eventually got towed to the Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealership of WinterHaven. When I arrived I was welcomed with a warm and friendly greeting from Richard, I had a feeling I was in good hands and that feeling was anything but wrong. Eventually, I learned that my timing belt had broken off which if anyone knows anything about cars, this is pretty much fatal and costly news and basically a death sentence for any vehicle. With financial and credit problems this was the worst news I could have ever received. I was assured by Joe and Eric that they will take care of me and they will not leave me stranded, they couldn't have been more right. The guys allowed me to stay in the dealership after hours so my son and I didn't have to wait out in the dark for my ride from Fort Myers. The guys at WinterHaven worked around the clock for days with my situation trying to come up with a solution for our problem. They eventually spoke with the owner Mike Mahalak and told him my story, that is when the unthinkable happened. They called me the next day to tell me they are replacing my old motor with a brand new one, they also were going to replace any broken parts in my vehicle all free of charge. Mike wanted me to have reliable transportation with no worries from me or my husband. I am sitting here at home with a practically brand new vehicle in my driveway not only did they completely fix everything they changed my oil, cleaned my car, and filled my gas tank. I am safe, my dog is safe and most importantly my son is safe and we have reliable transportation that I can depend on for years to come, all thanks to these awesome guys at winterHaven. This was a very happy ending to a nightmare of a story and I couldn't be anymore thankful. Everyone at this dealership is wonderful the service technition, Mike Weigel was very thorough in explaining what was fixed in my car and what I need to do to maintain it as well. I never once felt as if I was being taking advantage of and that is a very important detail with a dealership as a woman. Joe Gagnon is a wonderful sales associate and should be rewarded for his hardworking efforts not only did he find a solution for me he was true to his word in every aspect. I commend Eric Edwards as well because without him none of this would have taken place hadn't it been for his eagerness to help my family and I. Everyone is trustworthy, kind, generous, and I will be returning to this dealership from now on whether it be for a simple oil change or to buy our next vehicle. So, to the future customers of Dodge Chrysler Jeep of WinterHaven checking out this site wondering if this place is as wonderful as everyone says they are, they were telling the truth. When we were undecided about what model minivan to select he was very patient and encouraged us to take test drives to help us feel satisfied with the model we were to choose. He then searched thru inventories of surrounding dealers to find the exact model, color and options we wanted. He found the van that afternoon and had it deliverd that evening. Couldn't ask for better service. We couldn't have had a better experience. I recently purchased a 2010 Jeep Patriot from this dealership on October 1st, 2010. I had a pleasant experience dealing with Joe Gagnon as my salesman and Bruce as the finance specialist who closed th dealership on October 1st, 2010. I had a pleasant experience dealing with Joe Gagnon as my salesman and Bruce as the finance specialist who closed the deal. However, I recently discovered I was lied to and manipulated into a sale that absolutely disgusts me. During the course of the sale, I asked Joe very specifically if Midflorida Credit Union was contacted during the finance process. He advised me they were the first bank contacted and I was denied due to a prior bankruptcy, no current vehicle credit history on my wife’s credit, and that I did not have a current job at the time. Joe then advised me that Capital one approved us for financing at 18% and that we could go back to Midflorida Credit Union in a year once I had a job and my wife had established credit with a vehicle loan. My wife and I felt this was accurate information and trusted your financing department based on our current credit history so we purchased the vehicle. On Monday October 25th, 2010 I contacted Midflorida in reference to a personal financial matter. During this conversation, I asked the loan officer about my current vehicle loan with Capital One and to see what our options were to re-finance in the future. She took our information and contacted me on October 26th to inquire about my previous bankruptcy. On October 29th 2010, I received a call advising our loan was approved for re-financing. My wife and I signed the paperwork with Midflorida on November 2nd, 2010. I asked the loan officer if this dealership had contacted their institution anytime prior and she said no. She confirmed this by contacting the vehicle loan department of Midflorida Credit Union to protect herself so nothing suspicious was suspected on her end. I was given 100% proof both verbally and in writing that Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Winter Haven made no formal contact for a vehicle approval by Midflorida Credit Union. We were approved for a re-finance loan at 5.9% with no cash down compared to what their finance department approved us for at 18% with Capital One. I realize that caveat emptor goes into play anytime you make a large purchase like this so I should have been on guard more. However, for this dealership to blatantly lie to me is despicable. My wife and I put trust in this dealership and it got us nothing. More
