We purchased a 2014 Impala had he was extremely knowledgeable about the "new" car. We visited several other dealerships in our area and none of them took the time with us that Chris Nance did. We asked one sales associate at another dealership questions about the "new" Impala and his response was I don't know it is still to new. It seemed to me if we were going to pay so much money for a car we should have our questions answered and if he didn't know he should have found someone who did. If I was disappointed with anything at all, it would have been the price. Which of course had nothing to do with the service we received from Chris. I guess the cars are so new and with such high ratings I guess management felt they didn't have to come down more on the price. After having the car for a couple of weeks, I'm sure they will be in demand. The car rides great and is absolutely beautiful!! We have gotten so many complements on the car. More
I just bought a brand new 2013 Chevy Malibu last month. I love my car!!! My experience was by far the best I've ever had at a car dealership. The entire dealership from pre-approval, sales, financing and ser love my car!!! My experience was by far the best I've ever had at a car dealership. The entire dealership from pre-approval, sales, financing and servicing was beyond courteous and helpful. I enjoyed my experience with my salesman Bryan Sparks. He was fantastic! If you buy a car from this dealership you will not be disappointed. He was honest, sincere, knowledgeable, and an overall nice guy that made the process fun and easy. I also can't leave out David Rutter who is the Service Director. What an awesome person they have working in that department. This guy not only knows his stuff, but it is truly one of the best people working at this dealership. All I can say is Amazing!! Very impressed with him. You cannot go wrong with these people! I highly recommend you check them out. Thank you Dimmit Chevrolet!! More
I am beyond pleased with the service we received at Dimmit Chevorlet. My fiance and I knew we were coming in with a challenge. He does not have bad credit but really no credit. We had a budget for the Dimmit Chevorlet. My fiance and I knew we were coming in with a challenge. He does not have bad credit but really no credit. We had a budget for the down payment and for the monthly payments. We told them from the beginning this is where we are and we know we are not your most awesome customer because we knew they were not going to make much commission on us and it was going to take a lot of work to find a bank that would give us a loan. I was expecting to be treated differently because of this, but Bob Russell never even flinched; with a friendly smile said don't worry we can help you. I was shocked and happily followed him in his office. Through the entire process Bob made us feel so comfortable like we were part of the chevy family. Just like we thought it was tough for them to find a bank, but Bobbby Amino never gave up; he really fought for us. They spent a lot of time with us and on our loan to make sure we got the best deal that was in our price range. Sal Azzi was the person who finalized all our paperwork with, he is a loan genius. They all knew exactly what they were doing. I really do feel like a part of the Dimmit Chevorlet family, Bob Russell is my guy, I will always come back to Dimmit Chevorlet in Clearwater. They are my car people. Thank you so much to Bob Russell, Bobby Amino, and sal Azzi!!! More

Salesman, Dave Soby went above and beyond helping my wife and I purchase a new car. He was understood our situation as far as not having much money to work with and having an affordable car payment. He saw and I purchase a new car. He was understood our situation as far as not having much money to work with and having an affordable car payment. He saw to it that we were completely satified with our new car before we left the dealership. I would recommend anyone looking for a car to at least stop at Dimmitt Chevrolet and see what they can do befors buying a car from anybody else. More
Great experience from the first call of inquiry. I was an extremely time sensitive/ limited matter in purchasing a car. The team work the sales team and finance was perfection at its peak. On 4/6/12 I seen an add for a 2011 HHR and I called about it and talked to a really nice southern woman I believe her name was Lynn, and said that HHR is still available and I gave her my info for a pre Appr it and talked to a really nice southern woman I believe her name was Lynn, and said that HHR is still available and I gave her my info for a pre Approval, I Hade a 2006 chevy Cobalt to trade in. My pre approval went through and set up an appointiment for me to come in and talk to a dealer. So the next day on 4/7/12 at 8am I arrived at Dimmet Chevrolet and went to the fron desk and I asked for Lynn, and told the receptionist why I was here and Quickly a Car sales rep approached me and started to do the spiel, I told him I was already approved for the 2011 HHR, He says while lynn is walking up that "we sold the last HHR weeks ago" and lynn quickly said We have much better cars than the HHR and I've been approved for up to $18,000 and we can find a much better/nicer car for you.. I then told them I came here for a specific car and I looked at her and said" you lie'd to me just to get me here" and she said she was mis informed and deeply apolgized for her screw up. Now, right then and there I should have just walked out b/c of the false advertisiment, But I didn't and I started looking at other cars and I seen this real nice Honda Civic and I've always had a thing for the newly designed civic's so I test drove it and Instantly fell in love with the car, by this time it was like 10:15 am and had to be at work at 11:30am and It's a far drive back if your work is in st.pete, So i told them I'll be back tomorrow and we can do the paperwork part. The objected and said he can knock out this paper work fast as xxxx. Now, I go outside to smoke a cig and walked up to the car to see the sticker price, It was $22,000 for a 2009 Honda Civic 2 door (the one w/out built in gps). I almost had heart attack and was looking at the car an was dumbfounded that the car was that expensive. I then download Kelly blue book on my Iphone and did a search on that car and according to kelly blue book, The car was worth $14,000, Thats an $8000 increase. So I finished up my stogie and went back inside and told the sales rep that the car is way overpriced and showed the the kelly blue book value on my phone. Sales rep then took my phone to a small office with a buch of guys sitting in the room with all of the blinds were closed so I couln't see what was was going on and about 10minutes a few people walked out and broght me in a different room and showed me paper work saying they would sell the car for $16,000 and give me $7000 for my cobalt. Now I owed $5,600 on the cobalt so About $1,500 would go towards the Honda Civic. So Unlike my cobalt I asked for extended warrenty, cause I had all kinds of issues with that car and didn't want to get a car that would break down alot. So, they take me to a different office where i had to wait for quite awhile, so by this time its 11:15am and I'm telling them I need to leave and they kept saying, It'll only take a few minutes and I looked at him and said dude, your lying just like you did to get me here and he looked at me and said I promise it will only be a few more minutes. So i sat down and called my job and said I'm going to be late and told them what was going on. An hour and a half later i finally get called in and told the new sales rep that im in a huge rush and he was like , No prob it will be very quick, i singed a ton of paper work and last was long sheet of paper showing the sale, Intrest rate went up a bit, but did't have time so i quickly signed everything and when I was walking out, the orginal sales rep was like congrats, see that didn't take long and I bet u feel great about your new car, I looked at him and i told him that he's a liar and he's a perfect person to be a car sales men and told him his tactic is great if it fooled me and said listen I always use that promise cause everyones in a rush, he then noticed i started to get mad cause he basically told me the trush this time, that he lies and lies and lies to get people to stay.. I shake my head and get in the car and drive away in disgust b/c i really hate when people manipulate others to get what they want... It's just selfish.. So 3days go past and the sales supervisor calls me and says hey we need you to come back cause you forgot to sign some papers, I told him that everything checked out when i left, How could i forget to sign paperwork if your the one giving it to me. "you mean that you forgot to have me sign some more papers right" Isaid I cant today but how about tomorrow on my day off, there were like NO WE NEED YOU HERE NOW!! and since all the paper work wasn't signed i had a certain amount of time to go back and sign a few papers so the car would be mine and if i didn't since they still own the car, they said they would report it stolen.. So at this point im like..xxx, why are you guys doing this like that.. im not a criminal of some sort, there were like be here by 8pm and sign a few paapers and be on your way, It"ll only take 5 minutes.. So I talk to my supervisor and tell him whats going on and he allows me to leave for a little while to go up there, cause I knew there 5 minutes actually means like an hour or two, for real there on a different clock than the rest of us. So i go up there, the supervior is on his lunch break and I had to wait an hour for him to come back!! lol.. at this point im like "okay I'll wait" so he walks in and says "glad you came back, give me just a minute and we'll drawl up the paper work and you'll be on your way,45 minutes go by and I'm like xxx I waited an hour for him,now he's here and now I'm waiting even longer. Finally he calls me in to his office and has some woman with him,who kinda looked outta place but was there, nonetheless,so he starts hanging me some paper work and explaining them very fast, I told him I aldready signed these, He was like yeah you did, but there was a mistake with the lender and needed to re sign the paper work, So im in a rush and just resign everything, finally im finished and they have me the other spare key and owners guide andi left and went back to work.. First month goes by and I call the lender to make sure all was fine and they're like yeah, you dont have to pay for 3months, I'm like cha ching i just made the best deal of my life. So a little after the 3 months, I get the bill and my payment was $510 when the I chose the $450/month to pay off faster, So i'm like its just prolly a faster pay off and didn't think anything of it, untill now after I tried to refinance my loan, cause i came into a financial obstacle and makeing that high payment I couldn't do anymore. So I go to grow financial with my paper worand have the banker all my info and she's going over both sets of paper work and call the lender and starts asking them which set of papers are the correct ones, b/c they all had the same date on them from when I orginally went in the dealership, even the paper work i went back there to sign a few days later, So the banker has this crazy look on her face and says how did i go back and sign sale papers that were so different from the ordinal loan. That second set of papers that I signed when they threatened to report the car stolen, Shows final sale price at $22,000 with all premimum features and includes a $3000 balance thats unaccounted for "says paid by me for other services" and gave me an intrest rate of 23.9% and a 72 month loan!!! it says I'll be paying $39,000 for the loan if i pay all of those payments. Dimmet Cheverlot Robbed me blind and lies to me soo many times, how did i fall for this predatory lending, Theres nothing I can do to get it refinanced, that $3000 balance at the bottom of the break down of charges makes no sense other than the company pocketting that money. I called dimmet and the just keep giving me the run around and I dont know what to do anymore.. I want to keep the ar, but I cant afford that price, Plus I'm not going to let the bank take me for that kind of money, which screws me cause if I stop paying on it, If It gets repo'd thats going to kill my credit (that I'm trying to fix). It took me a while to type this story b/c I'm very embarassed that I was taken for a ride like that, I always told people that I can tell when I'm being messed with and lied to, But I fell hook line and sinker for this one. I want to see Dimmet out of business and will be posting this story on as many social networking sites as I can, Unless Dimmet contacts me and make this right and re write the loan for what the cars worth, Since they robbed me.. Went to Dimmitt Chevrolet to purchase a 2013 Chevy. It was supposed to be an easy ALL CASH deal. The salesman at Dimmitt would not come down in price from the retail. Not one penny. I ended up walking was supposed to be an easy ALL CASH deal. The salesman at Dimmitt would not come down in price from the retail. Not one penny. I ended up walking out to find a better deal elsewhere. Two days later, the salesman called me to tell me that someone had purchased the vehicle that I was interested in, but she wanted to return it. He said that they do not allow buyers to return a car they just purchased and they would only take it back from her if I agreed to buy it. Apparently they are not honoring Chevy's new "Love it or Leave it" program, allowing buyers to bring back their new vehicles if they are dissatisfied for whatever reason. In the meantime, I had called Gordon Chevrolet who gave me a great price for the same vehicle. I asked Dimmitt to match their price and they were unwilling to work with me. The salesman, William, told me that Gordon Chevrolet was lying and he suggested that I go to the other dealership and attempt to purchase the vehicle for that price - "It won't happen" he said. Well I did go to Gordon Chevrolet and I DID get the price offered and it was the best car buying experience of my life! Nice, helpful, and HONEST! Anyone thinking about dealing with Dimmitt Chevrolet should take a look at Gordon Chevrolet's prices first! I would even be willing to pay full price at Gordon Chevrolet to not have to deal with the folks at Dimmitt. I seriously do not understand how they are still in business. More
Unscrupulous dealer. Called and asked for new car sales to inquire on price for Cruz LS with automatic. Associate told me they were on sale. I asked for written quote which the associate emailed to me pr to inquire on price for Cruz LS with automatic. Associate told me they were on sale. I asked for written quote which the associate emailed to me promptly. I called to verify all the additional fees (dealer fee, tax, tag, etc...). The price and fees were acceptable so I asked them to reserve the car as we would be in when they opened the next day. The next day, after spending an hour at the dealership, when it came time for final price it went up $1000 from the quote they gave me less than 24 hours prior. Went five miles down the road to the next best offer I had received. Either their sales staff is untrained and submits offers they can't back-up or this was purposeful deceit. More
