Worst customer service ever. I bought a tonneau cover for my new Silverado as part of my purchase. The very day I brought it home it was leaking badly in the center of cover. I ca I bought a tonneau cover for my new Silverado as part of my purchase. The very day I brought it home it was leaking badly in the center of cover. I called advisor and they said they talked to service manager and they said bring it in we have a new cover in parts and we'll swap them out. I was there 2 and a half hours and the head mechanic pulled my truck out. The advisor said I have some bad news. They aren't going to change the cover because they all leak. I asked to speak to his boss and it was the service manager. He said the same thing, they all leak. I said just take it off I don't want it. I want a refund. He said because you bought as part of your purchase it going to be hard to do. Finally he looked at the video I had which showed how bad the leak was. He forwarded it to manufacturer and they said it's not supposed to leak like that and they would send me another one. I said can't you just install the one that you ordered for me in parts and he said no, I have to wait for the one from the factory. A week goes by and no phone call. I can't use the back of my truck. finally I called salesman and told him I'm bringing the truck back, I'm tired of waiting. Finally I spoke with GM. He agreed to give me a refund. 9 days and I got my refund. Went to Arrow toppers and they installed a quality tonneau in just 20 minutes. Moral of the story do not buy a tonnuea from the dealership. Service department is the worst service I've ever had and I've bought 10 cars from dealerships. More

My Salesperson Travis Hobbs drove the car out to my community where I signed for my New Trax. I never purchased a car this way but I found it to be very convenient since it saved me from navigating the community where I signed for my New Trax. We got a Chevy Volt in The summer of 2019. It was a “no haggle price” online (which ended up being around $10k more than they claimed online). Our local dealer couldn’t match it, so we went to Dimmit. Our haggle price” online (which ended up being around $10k more than they claimed online). Our local dealer couldn’t match it, so we went to Dimmit. Our sales guy knew NOTHING about the Volt, but I figured it was because maybe they just don’t sell a lot of electric cars so it’s newer to him. When negotiating and asking why they were charging astronomical amounts for things like servicing and cleaning the car on site (literally like $4k for in house services), the sales guy was telling me I was “mean” every time I’d ask him a question or “wow, she’s smart” when I’d calculate something on my phone. Not to mention talking about me nursing my daughter non-stop. My husband was ready to leave but I was hopeful they would get the price closer to what they advertised on line as the “no haggle price” and we needed a second car after our 2008 Prius was finally reaching an end. When we got to financing, the guy helping us was super nice and straight forward. He told us “if there are any warranties you get, I’d definitely get gap and the one that covers the computer because if the computer goes down in an electric car, it’s useless.” So we paid several thousand dollars more for the warranty, which boosted our monthly payments significantly and had us financing more than it’s worth. But using the warranty once would make it pay for itself. This security felt worth it at the time because we keep cars a long time- the Prius we traded in had around 250k miles. We started having issues with it almost immediately (the battery charger stopped working completely, the undercarriage had been rigged up so when we drove it, it was dragging the ground & the battery Door was messed up), ironically (or not), it all happened a few weeks before their dealer warranty ran out. My husband spent work breaks leaving multiple messages trying to talk to whomever they said he needed to talk to at the dealership but no one would return his calls. Finally, they got him in to service (just days after his dealer warranty was up). Service ended up coming back and claiming the issues weren’t covered under the extended warranty, and he was outside the dealer warranty by days by the time they got back to him, so we needed to pay for a new charger, they wouldn’t touch the undercarriage issue and wanted us to pay a fee just for looking at the car to diagnose. No one would budge (And an electric car is pointless without being charged) until I wrote online reviews detailing the issue. They got our finance guy involved and turns out the main charger issue was not covered by our extended because it’s covered by Chevy as a whole (up until 100k miles- a quick google search will tell you the details). So how many other people have paid for this same issue that is COVERED by Chevy’s warranty instead of digging deeper? And why did NO ONE in service or the entire dealership know it was covered by the manufacturer warranty? And their “compromise” on the undercarriage was to just cut off a chunk of it, which was ineffective, so it’s still dragging to this day. That was only the first ordeal with the car.. Fast forward to January and the entire computer system stops working. The car runs but you can see nothing- no reverse camera, no radio, none of the car stats etc. We feel grateful we invested in the computer warranty! We take it in to our local dealer because we didn’t ever want to return to Dimmit. The woman in service tells us “oh yeah, this is a known electric issue. It should be covered under the computer warranty”. The warranty doesn’t transfer from Dimmit so she has to have it emailed to her. Then we get a call back from her to say the warranty company denied fixing it and it’s thousands of dollars to have it repaired. And Another diagnostic fee. We called the warranty company and told them “I’m looking at the brochure for the warranty and it says this is covered.” To which they inform us that this is actually a problem with Dimmit. They don’t just buy a specific warranty off the brochure you have- they have control over what tier they submit you as, which is why your warranty didn’t transfer over to the other dealer and Dimmit had to send it to them via email. You’re going to have to go back to Dimmit. We have left multiple messages for Dimmit finance trying to get to the guy who set us up (and who helped last time) but can’t get anyone from the department on the phone. When we ask for him by name they say no one works or worked here with that name. Yet we have his signature on our paperwork. We have spoken with someone in a different department, who claimed they were “calling the warranty company and will call us back within days” but we never hear back from them. When we follow up, they just say they will do it and call back. It’s been months. They never call back. Another owner of multiple dealerships told us to ask for the regional dealer rep phone number and if they won’t help to get an attorney. They refuse to give the number out. This is the second time in less than a year we have had a major known issue claimed it’s not covered by warranties we bought SPECIFICALLY FOR THESE ISSUES and the warranty company themselves saying the issue lies with Dimmit. However, this is a significantly larger issue than our one car. A company should not be able to manipulate warranties so that they don’t cover the very issues covered in the brochure you’re provided. Or require that people are forced to return to THEM for service. Or make people pay for issues covered under factory warranty...then if they choose not to pay, say “well it’s $150 to $200 for the diagnostic so you have to pay that anyways”. This is a scam. More
WORST service center experience ever I went in for my second oil change (Which is included in my 2 free oil changes) and they told me it was my third. I thought it was odd and looked I went in for my second oil change (Which is included in my 2 free oil changes) and they told me it was my third. I thought it was odd and looked at the paperwork showing my past "two" One showed the correct car and another showed one of a different year. The person behind the desk said it was just a typo. Then they continued and charged me $250 for a single tire replacement. The total charge, for the oil change and a single tire replacement cost a RIDICULOUS $320. All this and making me wait almost 3 hours from start to finish. All this for a lease with only 12k miles on it. Absolutely ridiculous. When asked they told me to contact their finance department, which I did and was told I had to talk to the service director. The whole experience was ridiculous. More

This was the most pleasu On March 19, 2020 we purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox to tow behind our motorhome. This was the 39th vehicle I have owned. This was the most pleasurable automobile buying experience I have ever had. EVERYONE at the dealership including the receptionist, sales force and finance department were very professional and accommodating. Travis Hobbs and his teammate Daniel Tartabull went above and beyond the call of duty to answer our questions and ensure that the vehicle we picked out would fit all our needs. They demonstrated the in-depth product knowledge and also did research to find the information they did not know. They did not apply any pressure at any time as they led us through the purchasing process. Sal Azzi the finance manager did a great jo of explaining different finance options and other products available to us. He knew we were paying cash and did not apply any pressure but explained the possible benefits of using Other Peoples Money instead our own funds. THE ONLY PRESSURE DURING THI ENTIRE BUYING EXPERIENCE WAS IN THE TIRES ON THE VEHICLE WE BOUGHT. *I have 30 years past experience in the sales and management of automobile dealerships. Dimmitt Chevrolet is a diamond in the industry where most are only lumps of coal. We drove over two hours to purchase this vehicle and when we are ready to purchase another vehicle we will be buying from Danny and Travis. Extra poor body work and over all customer service. Worst dealership I’ve ever been to. Besides being lied to and treated rude and not answering phone calls or calling me back ,very poor customer servic Worst dealership I’ve ever been to. Besides being lied to and treated rude and not answering phone calls or calling me back ,very poor customer service! When they do e mail me don’t leave a name. Was suppose to fix scratches on new truck but said I waited to long and and they got worse. They got worse when they touch them up instead of painting them. Don’t know how scratches get worse on a plastic bumper. I’ve been to couple other dealers and they can’t believe the way I was treated. Minus 10 for Dimmitt Chevrolet! More
Poor body shop work! Bought a new Colorado pickup last fall which had scratches on hood, headlight and bumper. Salesman said no problem will repaint scratches and truck wil Bought a new Colorado pickup last fall which had scratches on hood, headlight and bumper. Salesman said no problem will repaint scratches and truck will be like new. Called couple times to get it fixed but said they had no loner vehicle. So finally took it to them on my own and said we will take care of it.Put in new headlight and touched up scratches. Touch up is not paint job. Looked worse after it was done. Told me that was all they could do. Went to another body shop to let them look at it and said $200 plus to make it right. I’m not paying $200 to fix a vehicle I bought off of Dimmitts lot. They won’t answer my e-mails or phone calls. Just getting the run around. No customer service after the sale at all. Worst dealership I’ve ever done business with. More
