We can see the vehicle was purchased back in 2019 pre-owned and the extended warranty that was purchased was limited coverage so some items were not covered. The vehicle was 7 model years old when purchased which limited the amount of coverage offered. We can also see that the warranty has come to the end of its term. This is exactly the issue with Dimmitt. They don't want to take ownership for their mistakes or faults. Notifying me about an hour before my scheduled appointment to tell me I can only purchase the car if the other person doesn't want it is what I would call inconsiderate. Did you ever think that maybe I had cancelled plans on my Saturday so that I'd have a chance at coming in and test driving the car for purchase? Why wasn't I given the chance to lock something in like the other person? The whole thing was excuse after excuse so of course I'd be angry and say screw you. That's not taking it to another level. It's to show you that actions have consequences. Just own that you screwed up and stop making excuses. I think you'd get a lot more respect. In addition, when someone says they're going to share a negative review with others it's not wise to have your employees threaten to do the same. I've already wasted too much time responding to a dealer that lacks integrity. I hope others read this so they know ahead of time that working with Dimmitt Chevrolet may not be in their best interest. All these negative reviews can't be a coincidence.
