Terrible service department One would think that since this is a Landrover dealership that they would take pride and give quality service. Every time I take my LR the mechanic al One would think that since this is a Landrover dealership that they would take pride and give quality service. Every time I take my LR the mechanic always breaks something else and not admit to it. Clamps are not properly tighten and coolant leaking and wiring harnesses are not put back properly. Hose brackets are not even installed properly. They also have an average turn around time of 3 weeks. They never happen to have any parts. More

I Would Never Recommend This Dealership/Service Department I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Dimmitt. I was directed to Dimmitt by my insurance company because they are a "STAR" rated service depa I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Dimmitt. I was directed to Dimmitt by my insurance company because they are a "STAR" rated service department, to address an issue that was previously covered by my insurance. I was told that they would contact the adjuster and address what they felt was just a minor issue. I had to contact them to find out what was decided the next day, I was told that my insurance would not cover it, that the adjuster had come out and looked at pictures of the issue, yet when I called my insurance company they told me that no one had gone out or even addressed the issue. I asked the service person to get me a quote on the "simple" fix, and never received a phone call back. I did take my vehicle to Clearwater Toyota for the "simple" fix which turned out went way beyond simple (See my review of the excellent service). Needless to say, Dimmitt treated me as if my business was beneath them because it was a Toyota truck and not a high overpriced vehicle and I was not a worthy rich potential customer. Dimmitt needs to revamp their customer service and they need to realize that every person is a potential customer. More

I neaver leave there without being reminded that my business is not only important to them, but really appreciated. They sell cars that are half a million dollars....not mine. I drive one of the least expensive cars they sell. I still feel extremely valued. The quality of the work is also wonderful. I have never had to go back a second time for the same problem. My car was recalled twoice.... for computer upgrades only. Worrisome.... yes. I was reassured by Dimmit and all was handled quickly, completely, and professionally. I have had very few issues beyond standard service either. A great product and a better dealership. More

Al Harter kept me up to date with my service needs and to find the best solution that fit my budget.. He also arranged for me to pick my Hummer up after hours. I was heading out of town for the week and not returning until 10:30 PM. Al made sure my Hummer was left out on Friday so I could pick it up after hours. It had been wash too. (Nice Touch) It's the little things like this that make Dimmitt standout when it comes to customer service. Keep up the good work. Thank You Paul More
Wish I had gone sooner. Friendly and Helpful I brought my land rover to Southpoint Sarasota for service and upon receiving my vehicle, the installed part was not functioning properly. When I retu I brought my land rover to Southpoint Sarasota for service and upon receiving my vehicle, the installed part was not functioning properly. When I returned to southpointe, I was given quick, short and shady responses on how this had happened. Feeling uneasy, I called Dimmitt and explained what had happened in detail and they gladly urged me to come down and they'd help me figure this out. I showed up, was greeted at the door and briefly met with the service reps and out the door in a beautiful loaner car promptly. They explained what had been installed at the dealer in Sarasota and let me know what to look for when I would have to return. It was great to be treaded with respect after being treated harshly by the Sarasota dealer. Even though I would have to drive an hour and a half to go back, its worth it just to feel confident my vehicles in good hands and I can rest easy without having to go over the work and checking parts and numbers on paper with those installed on my car. My only regret is that I didn't initially bring my vehicle to the people at Dimmitt Land Rover. More
As always, Dimmitt and Dan Robinson took care of the car and my family. I am away on business travel overseas and am so a lot so I truly appreciate the personal attention he affords to my family while I am and my family. The service department works with us always for routine maintenance but this latest was a major malfunction/breakdown requiring a couple of days to repair. Dimmitt provided a loner so my wife wasn't stranded. When it is time to purchase another vehicle, it will definitely be one that Dimmitt sells/services. I appreciate the 5 star treatment. Our sals person was a good guy ,but to put the deal together it was a nightmare ,they still owe me two hundred dollars for referrals ,the car they sold me should have gone to auction it's has been repa together it was a nightmare ,they still owe me two hundred dollars for referrals ,the car they sold me should have gone to auction it's has been repair after repair I would never recommend this dealership even to my worst enemy,real bad experience since July here it is January 2014 still having problems with 2003 cts my next move will be to a lawyer and news media More
