Our Elantra was in the service center in Dec. '24 and end of May '25 for screaming belt issue at start up. Issue still not resolved and we've spent more than $2000. I am not pleased with the service department at Diehl because my check engine light was on, they charged me and did nothing to fix it. The light is still on. They charged me $200 to run the codes that I because my check engine light was on, they charged me and did nothing to fix it. The light is still on. They charged me $200 to run the codes that I already told them what it was from being done at a part store. Then wanted to charge me another $200 to clean something and finally then they would replace the injectors after that , But they couldn’t promise me that would fix the problem. They said it was bad gas. The car only has 65000 miles on it and it should be all covered in the 100000 mile drive train warranty. This is my 6th Hyundai I’ve owned and like them but now I am having doubts on the warranty coverage and standing behind it. More
