My back up camera went out on my 22 Elantra. I spoke to a lady over the phone and she stated that it would be a $45 diagnostic fee and that it would be done the same day. When I dropped off my v I spoke to a lady over the phone and she stated that it would be a $45 diagnostic fee and that it would be done the same day. When I dropped off my vehicle, I sat down with a male service rep, he then switched the diagnostic fee to $150, when questioned he said he was unsure where the original quote came from but he insisted that was the actual fee. He also stated they would have to keep my vehicle for up to 2 days (Wed-Friday). I told him that contradicted what the lady had previously told me over the phone and he insisted this was the actual time frame completely disregarding what I was originally told over the phone. Reluctantly I dropped off the vehicle. Friday came around and no call, no updates. So I called the service desk and coincidentally my service advisor was out for the day. No one was able to give me an update on my vehicle. Monday came around, no updates. Tuesday we finally get a call, our service rep states they’re waiting for parts and he was unsure of when the parts are going to come in. He said they could either come that Friday or within 2 weeks and that he would let us know. At this point we are fed up and we just want our vehicle back since we have been without a vehicle for 7 days now. Wednesday comes around no updates, so I call the service department asking what’s going on. After speaking with our service rep and asking for an update he completely lied and stated that he spoke to “someone” earlier and told them the car would be ready for pick up as early as Thursday. Not sure who he spoke to because it wasn’t myself nor was it my fiance. I questioned who he spoke to since it wasn’t either of us and all he had to say was “not sure who it was but I spoke to someone”. We finally pick up our vehicle on Thursday. Our service rep was terrible at keeping us updated, offered no solutions and blatantly lied to make it seem like he was keeping us updated to save his own self. We have been going to this dealership before the new management came around and it has completely gone downhill. This will most likely be the last time we purchase a lease from this dealership. More
Early bird dropoff worked out great! Just made an appt the day prior and was notified the next afternoon that my car was ready for pick up. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Raul was my writer and was professional and friendly. I know he worked thru his normal lunch hour.
