I had a surprisingly enjoyable experience at Advantage Suzuki working with salesperson Dave Piusienski. All the staff made me feel at home and were very friendly. I had the exterior and interior protectant added to the car in a speedy manner and they squeezed me into thier work shop schedule to make it happen before I drove my new car away from the dealership. Everyone is knowledgable about thier cars so you drive away feel some confidence using all the hi-tech toys in the car. More
I had been looking for a car for awhile on line and went to a few well known car lots to talk. At the first lot after the salesman addressed only my fiance, continued to talk over me and actually said: "Wel to a few well known car lots to talk. At the second lot, the salesman left us waiting in the hot sun so long while he went to get a car for me to test drive, that we sought shade in the trees on the other side of the lot. After more waiting and being attacked by mosquitoes, we were frustrated so we started the long walk back to the original lot. Halfway there the salesman returned in a car that I wasn't even interested in. I decided right then to keep the SUV I was driving. The following week my fiance insisted we go to Advantage Suzuki to take a look at the SX4 Crossover. I walked in determined to be treated better then the previous salesmen had treated me. We were greeted by Vincent Ogniski. My first question was would he please not speak to my fiance, that the car was for me, not him. Instead of coming back at me with an attitude, Vincent said he hoped to answer any questions either of us had and he did so without making me feel "less". Later in our conversation I apologized to Vincent for sounding rude at first and told him about my previous salesmen experiences. Instead of excuses, he offered explanations of salesmen behaviors and why men are sometimes addressed more then women when looking for a car together. I appreciated that, just as I appreciated him asking me exactly what was important to me about a car because even though I had a list of wants and needs, I was still unsure of what kind of vehicle I wanted. Everyone we dealt with at Advantage Suzuki was courteous and very patient which is a big thing when one is undecided, unsure and really attached to their current vehicle. I've had my SX4 Crossover for about a week and a half and I am a very happy girl. It has a lot of great features, being small but roomy inside, getting 29 MPG highway, heated seats, all the new technology hook ups and more. Vincent not only sold me a great vehicle, he taught me a few things I thought I already knew: the proper way to set external mirrors and seat adjustment for the safest ride since I am vertically challenged. But one of the coolest things for me personally is really bright reverse lights. Now, after 7 years, I can finally back into my long bush lined driveway at night without scraping them. Yay! In the future, we will return to Advantage Suzuki not only because of the great vehicles but because of the positive experience we had there! well at first our experence was great. But this last time it really sucked and not to mention this is our 4th car from them. Did not have all the paper work done when we got there, then the work they did on it really sucked and not to mention this is our 4th car from them. Showed up for a oil change and service found that brakes/rotors were very rusty. I explained that there was just to much rust build up to have since we just bought the vehicle 4 months ago. I purchased a Suzuki Kasashi about one month ago. The salesman, Dwayne Ingram, did an exceptional job of pointing out all the luxury type features that made me fall in love with this car. This vehicle has some great standard options, plus tempting upgrades that motivated me to buy the SLS model at a reasonable price. I did do some comparison shopping with other manufacturers, but really felt this car offered the best value, not to mention the included all wheel drive. When visiting other dealers, I did not come accross another salesman that was as informative and helpful as Dwayne. I think they were fair in the pricing and also gave me a generous amount for my trade in. Dwayne also went above and beyond in getting me the vehicle in white which was the color I really wanted. I have not needed any service yet, so I cannot rate the dealer on that category. I do have a couple of questions about my car, and will be calling Dwayne to stop in and have him help me with some of the technical features and know he will be helpful. More
I was extremely satisfied with my overall experience at Advantage Suzuki, Albany NY, and because of this, I purchased a brand new 2011 Suzuki Kizashi. Upon arriving to the dealership, I was quickly greated Advantage Suzuki, Albany NY, and because of this, I purchased a brand new 2011 Suzuki Kizashi. Upon arriving to the dealership, I was quickly greated by a sales consultant, Alfio Giuliano. I had been doing some online research months prior to visiting the dealership and I was pretty certain that I wanted an AWD sedan. The vehicles that I was considering were the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi, 2011 Subaru Impreza, and 2011 Subaru Legacy. All three of these vehicles were about the same price, so my decision was going to come down to the test drive and what was actually included with the costs, such as warranty, car features, etc. Initially, I went to the Subaru dealership and browsed around the parking lot for approximately 5-10 minutes. I was not greeted by anyone, so I then went into the dealership and was told that everyone was busy, take a seat, and someone would be over to help me. I sat there for another 10-15 minutes and decided my business didn't seem to be important, so I headed for Advantage Suzuki. I arrived at Advantage Suzuki and browsed around the parking lot for vehicles with the features I was looking for. I was greeted by Alfio Giuliano within 5 minutes, which was perfect because I wanted a few minutes to decide which car models I wanted to test drive. He was extremely friendly and helpful. I told him that I was there to test drive the Suzuki Kizashi and within minutes he had me doing just that. As we drove, he described the key features of the car and answered any questions I had. Also, I was very pleased with Alfio Giuliano's sales approach. I dread going to car dealerships because the sales people are usually the worst. I typically don't do well with sales associates trying to pressure me into buying something I'm not sure I want. Such a sales approach has deterred me from making purchases before. I am more likely to walk away if I feel like I am being harrassed, instead of helped. I did not feel pressured at any point during my experience at Advantage Suzuki, and I greatly appreciated that. I was so pleased with the Suzuki Kizashi and the service provided by the dealership that the purchase I was planning on making in the next couple of months was changed to only 2 weeks later, after my initial visit to the dealership. I have had my car for less than two weeks now, and I love it! My only misfortune was that within the first week of having the car, I did have to return to the dealership to have my tires balanced. I am happy that was all that it was. Also, the devices such as my cell phone and iPod, that I attempted to hook up to the USB to play music, are not compatible with the car's system, so I will probably be purchasing a new iPod soon so that I will be able to use that feature. Other than that, I am so excited about owning this car! I can't wait to see how it handles in our upstate New York winters. Everyone who has been a passenger or fortunate enough to take it for a drive are impressed with it's smooth ride and handling, the comfort of the interior, and all the extra features. They can't believe that I purchased an AWD vehicle for such a reasonable price. Thank you Advantage Suzuki for getting me into such an exquisite vehicle. He was extremely patient and helpful, and explained in details all the options I had, and allowed me to take my pace to make my own decisions. As an out-of-state buyer, I went there to pick up the car at 6:45PM after work. Vinny briefed all the documents with me and kindly answered all my questions in great patience, and made sure I know all the features about this new vehicle before I left. Overall this is a very joyful experience and I would definitely recommend this dealer. More
After a long delay in my decision to purchase a new vehicle, I visited several local dealers and was not seen by one sales person as I caroused the new vehicles in their parking lots. Frustrated, I returned to Advantage Suzuki (for my 3rd car from them)and a salesman came right out to great me. He introduced himself and easily answered all my questions. He gave me information on the new Grand Vitara I was looking at and treated me with human decency and professionalism the whole time he was doing it. (Please notice the order I have placed these two compliments!) My new vehicle was delivered 1 week later as planned and just love it! Now, every time I go back to the dealership for service, he is always eager to shake my hand and share a story or two. This is my 3rd vehicle from this dealership and wish to say that it was Dave (Sales Manager at the time) and Scott in service that has always had me coming back. Their professionalism and caring and positive attitudes made me respect the dealership. how many people can say that! Now I can say that I can add Alfie to this prestigious list.
