Good First Car Buying Experience I bought my very first new car from Classic Mazda of Denton (2018 Mazda3 Hatchback in Deep Blue) and the experience could not have been better. Especi I bought my very first new car from Classic Mazda of Denton (2018 Mazda3 Hatchback in Deep Blue) and the experience could not have been better. Especially compared to my experiences at other car dealerships where the sales teams were pushy, shady, and condescending and where they tried to take advantage of the fact that I am a small young woman to try to give me egregiously unfair deals, the team at Classic Mazda of Denton was absolutely amazing. My sales associate, Tareq Wahed, was kind, informative, and receptive. The sales team manager, Ryan Rector, was introduced to me my first visit and listened to what I had to say and was open to doing all he could to make sure I found the car and deal I felt most comfortable with. The finance manager, Don Johnson, was also very down to earth and never played any games like “being on my team against the bank” or “talking to his manager”. He never did any shady phone calls, stepping out, or ominous calculating of numbers. I also was aware of the rule of thumb to never agree to buying extended warranties, especially on new cars, but Don never made me feel pressured, he simply showed me the options and after reading the information Don had on the warranties he suggested I get and researching them myself (while he waited patiently) I realized the Mazda extended warranties are actually beneficial, not bs dealership up charges. Plus he was able to get me a very fair price for the warranties, being willing and patient to go back and forth on offers and seeing what all we could do, got me a fair APR, and a monthly payment I felt comfortable with. Additionally, their facility is clean, quiet, and organized, without being overly flashy or uppity. Having almost purchased a different vehicle from another dealership a couple months prior and knowing how insecure I felt about it and worried about the fairness of it, I was able to sign all of the papers with Mazda with confidence and no fear at all. So far, I have no buyer’s remorse. I have a car I love that is beautifully cleaned and detailed and that has warranties I feel protected with all thanks to Classic Mazda of Denton, Tareq Wahed, Ryan Rector, Don Johnson, and the rest of their team. They have since followed up with me about my satisfaction with a personal email and not a survey. I would definitely recommend purchasing from them. More
