Pain-free buying experience I was in the market for a new vehicle and I have had my eye on the Challengers since they were reintroduced in 2008, and with the recent 2015 redesi I was in the market for a new vehicle and I have had my eye on the Challengers since they were reintroduced in 2008, and with the recent 2015 redesign I was even more of a fan. After I viewed just about every Challenger online review and YouTube video I narrowed it down to the Scat Pack edition. I started off trying TrueCar.com but found out quickly that there was absolutely no value added with this site...don’t get me started. After visiting a couple of dealerships I quickly became weary of the normal pitch and tactics...trade-in run around, dealer add-ons, no incentives or rebates on the model I happened to want, only full optioned vehicles with all of the bell$ and whistle$ on the lot, etc... Luckily my wife had been discussing my car search with some coworkers and one of them recommended a buddy (Kevin Vines 817-456-8278) that works at Classic of Dodge in Denton. I called up Kevin and we discussed the model/color/options and price range I was interested in, since they didn’t have anything on the lot that matched he said he would do some checking and get back to me. The next day he sent me a text letting me know that he had a guy (Shane Pike 940-703-2410) running a search and already had a couple of leads. By the end of the day Kevin called to let me know there was a dealership in Austin that had what I was looking for and that I could have it for just a little over invoice. The next day I went up to the dealership to see what they would give me for my trade-in, they matched what CARMAX was going to give me for it, nice. Plus, the entire trade-in evaluation took less than an hour. At that point I was comfortable with the deal and just wanted to know when we could make this happen. Shane drove down to the Austin dealership and swapped vehicles with one from their inventory. Even though the car was now in Denton I asked Kevin if we could put off finalizing the deal until the end of the week, my wife really wanted to go with me to pick up the new car...the wait was the most agonizing part of this deal ;-). When we went in Friday morning the car was inside being detailed while we were finalizing the documentation, we were in and out within a couple of hours, I was pre-approved for financing so that probably helped speed up the process. Good deal on my trade-in, good deal on my new car, no dealer add-ons, paid exactly what I was quoted, and got the car that I wanted... More

Horrible Experience I went to Classic Jeep Dodge Ram Chrysler and it was a terrible experience. I worked with Chad and Demarcus but I was treated like I couldn't afford to be there maybe because I was young. They were unprofessional and had horrible customer service. They offered little money for my 07 Dodge Caliber which just passed state inspection. Demarcus didn't tell me any information about the Challenger he just put me in it. I chose classic of Denton bc my roommate got a Mazda from classic and her experience was awesome. Long story short take your business to Huffines in Lewisville like I did and they will take care of you. Plus their cars are a little cheaper. I thought Classic would be a class act but they were unprofessional lackadaisical. More

We were referred directly to the GM who was Mr. Rick Wick. We had never purchased a Jeep product before and I will say that Mr. Wick was awesome to deal with. He put Shayne Pearce in to work with us on our purchase. Not only did we with Mr. Wick's approval get a great deal on the Jeep, but we had a trade in to throw into the mix. We were surprisingly happy with the offer we were given on it also. It was a drama, hassle free experience from the moment we walked in the door. I would not hesitate to return if another Jeep is in my future. More

Turning a negative into a positive I traded in a 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 for a new High Octane Red with Molten Lava interior on May 19...I had ordered this car from the factory in Ma I traded in a 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 for a new High Octane Red with Molten Lava interior on May 19...I had ordered this car from the factory in March, and watched the build progress online. I took delivery and was really enjoying the car, but in 1 week the engine developed a rapping sound...turned out a defective valve lifter was the culprit. Classic Service fixed the problem in a couple days, but I was not happy with a new car having a major engine problem. Chrysler Corp. didn't offer any solution other than the car was fixed under warranty. I talked with sales and requested my old car back...they had a sale in the works on that already, so they offered up the next best thing. They had a 2014 Shaker edition just come in, and worked a great deal on that car with me...Between J.T. Sherrard, Chris Mueller and Classic Dodge ownership, they took what was going to be a bad ownership experience and turned it into a very positive experience. This is a first class sales operation, and I would highly recommend Classic Dodge to anyone looking for a Chrysler, Dodge or Ram vehicle! More
This dealership was great! I thought our salesperson, JT Sherrard, was knowledgeable and nice. There was no "magic math" or dealer add ons. Just a straight forward car buying experience. On the first day I met JT, I test drove two cars and had starting prices (below MSRP) for four cars in two hours. I was really impressed. The dreaded finance office was great! The only suggestion I would make is maybe have like a lamented sheet or a brochure detailing the warranty information before being asked to purchase one. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a direct buying experience. More

I took my 300M in because it wouldn't pass inspection - the CheckEngine and oil lights were on. They repaired the car and successfully inspected it for $750.00. They replaced two sensors, gas cap, and changed the oil. 20 days later BOTH lights come back on. They kept my car for two days, didn't charge me anything, managed to get the lights off......but.......get this....on the way home from the shop......BOTH lights came back on. Sooooooo......was on their lot looking at cars, they appraised the 2004 300M at $1200. Several things: I wonder if the initial $750 was necessary since the problem was never fixed. I get a call from their sales manager, "..can we offer you top dollar for you car on a trade in for a new Chrysler?" I told him that they already offered a BOTTOM dollar trade in amount. This whole ordeal truly had my stomach in knots. I found out that my car has electrical problems that isn't cost effective to fix. I also found out that this dealership service department told me everything from my engine needs rebuilding... to rats (later oil) made the wiring crack and short. I also found out that their Sales Manager, while having good intentions, didn't truly look at my case. End result - I traded in the Chrysler...for more than double the amount....at another dealership (yes...intentional)....and bought a new Toyota. More
