Purchased a new Jeep Grand Wagoneer and scheduled my first oil change and to have a recall taken care of. Received confirmation email stating that the scheduled time is for review only, not necessarily first oil change and to have a recall taken care of. Received confirmation email stating that the scheduled time is for review only, not necessarily the service time. That’s the purpose of a scheduled appointment for maintenance. The recall notice specifically said 30 minutes and the oil change shouldn’t take too long. If they don’t provide loaners for regular service, they need to provide the service at the scheduled time. They sell the service package at point of sale, but make it difficult to utilize, so waste of money if you have to get serviced somewhere else. Very frustrating and disappointing as the service in the sales department was great. Too bad the service doesn’t back them up. More
