Fuel leak I brought my Buick to your service dept with a strong smell of gasoline. Turned out to be corrosion of the gas lines, clogged and leaking evaporator v I brought my Buick to your service dept with a strong smell of gasoline. Turned out to be corrosion of the gas lines, clogged and leaking evaporator vent line. Unrelated to that, the mechanic found a water pump leak. I got the car 1 day ago so it's too early to say anything is still wrong on those issues. So far, it seems fine, no leaks found. The car, although nearly 12 YO, only has 48,000 mi. Why would the gas line system suddenly go that bad other than less than good quality parts in the manufacture of the vehicle? The service writer, Jacki, was helpful and is knowledgeable in her position. The mechanic who diagnosed the issues was also helpful and knowledgeable. No issues there. What I do have issue with is the hourly rate the dealership charges. $169/hr seems excessive. $3,367 labor to install a water pump and gas lines/evap vent made me wonder whether keeping this car was worth it. Decided it was for 1 episode like this. It has been maintained ONLY by White Plains Buick in NY and Delray Buick in Fl. You certainly have good people here. My only issue is service rates in Delray Buick. More

Not only are they reliable and professional but I have never been pressured to purchase something for my many Buicks that I didn't need. My current service advisor, Bob Heinsohn, treats me with the utmost respect and makes me feel like I'm a member of the Buick family, not just someone who has purchased multiple Buicks over the years.
