Demontrand Hyundai is nothing but lies and That includes Wes Ortiz the General manager as well as Mark the mgr.and my ales person Erik!I paid cash for a 2024 Tuscon and I can't believe the lies I've been to Wes Ortiz the General manager as well as Mark the mgr.and my ales person Erik!I paid cash for a 2024 Tuscon and I can't believe the lies I've been told by everyone at the dealership.My Tuscon was bought 01/04/2025 .i drove it home and parked it as it was late and very cold ,it was dark and I trusted my salesman Erik since my son and wife had just purchased a brand new Palisade.This car was "Peowned"and I was told it had 10,000 miles on it then paperwork revealed it was close to 15,000 milesthe Carfax is a year old so that'sdeceptive ,I was told the car was certified but no paperwork to that effect!The car wasn't clean,had visible scratches not only in front of car but also in the cup bowl and handles,rock chip in windshield the brakes sound horrible and I was told because it had been sitting and the noise would go away and it's still making bad noise,The spare tire was making a loud banging noise and husband figured out where it was coming from.We had to go back to dealership to have it detailed and Erik said it was ok that the spare was upside down??Not even bolted down!The car wasn't clean and has stains to this day on drivers side but the mustard stain on the passenger side Erik made sure that was clean.I went out to get pictures of vehicle for my insurance company the very next day and wow,it has a dent in the back and not even 18 hours after purchase!I immediately called and texted Erik and he said don't worry we'll take care of it,he said he didn't know how he missed it!Then I took the car in to have it fixed and the only option was to claim it in my insurance and I said No!My driving record is spotless then Wes Ortiz said he'd give me a discount to have their body shop fix it for Almost $2,200.!?He said his word is final and I have pictures and he said they have pictures so I said ok,What's the date on those pictures and he said he wouldn't give me that information because that's internal!!I have a right to see anything in reference to a car I paid cash for!So now no paperwork on the certification of the car,Carfax a year old,messed up brakes,rock chip that they said was fixed,Promises they will call me back and never do so I have text messages confirming everything and pictures of the vehicle.ive been straight up about everything with all of them.They are very deceptive but I'm out all that money and I'm a disabled senior citizen and so is my husband!I can't afford another car but Wes Ortiz said he didn't have a Boss but everyone has a boss and I'm going to keep trying to get this taken care of.I need help and I get a GM wia God Complex! Please Don't Waste Your Money At Demontrand Hyundai especially if your senior citizens or young and that's all you have!I'm the only driver in my home and taking care of my sister as well and I Don't Trust This Car. Final Update: Warranty was refunded after 2 months of back and forth. There was a ton of miscommunication which I relayed back to the dealership General Manager. Although I appreciate them assisting (and Sales never giving us an issue), the Finance team is still extremely lacking in their communication and ethics, so it is hard to recommend a purchase until they clean-up on their end. Wife and I purchased a car at the beginning of November, and although we had no issues with sales, the finance department has been awful. We were pressured into an extended warranty, and with our doubts, confirmed that there was a cancellation period (60 days) and were assured it was an easy process. Two days after purchase, and further reading the requirements needed for a warranty claim to be honored, we decided to cancel. We called the dealership multiple times and left messages with the finance department. The next day, we spoke to the receptionist who acted surprised that there had been no answer, as she stated the other day was not busy at all - we then asked to leave a message for the finance manager. With no further response, my wife proceeded to drive across town 5 days after the car purchase to talk to someone in person. When she arrived, one of the two finance folks were in the office, and because the present financial person did not help us with the sale, we'd have to wait. Ryan Crowder was left a message from his associate, and we heard no call back. We repeatedly called the following week with no response. Finally on the second week, we received an email back from Ryan about our desire to cancel. We filled out the required paperwork and odometer reading proof same day, and asked for an estimate on cancellation timing. Six to eight weeks to cancel a warranty, after we had signed out an intent to cancel nearly right after purchase. The contracts are airtight and state that cancellation can be completed for a full refund within 60 days, but the finance department is intentionally delaying the process. This is BEYOND ridiculous and fraudulent business practice. We have reported this case to the Texas DMV and intend to raise further concerns to the DeMontrond CCO and general managers. Update: we spoke with a general manager today to escalate this, and they gave us the run around that it could take 90 DAYS on their end to have the warranty cancelled. Talk about moving the goalposts and lying to sell any car. More

10/12/24 We purchased a 2025 Palisade from Demontrond Hyundai today. Our goal was a test drive and a price check then make our get away out to lunch. My experience with this Customer Service and the Service Department deserves 5 stars as my daughter travelling in my car had the skid plate fall and eventually break off letting her 5 hrs from home feeling Department deserves 5 stars as my daughter travelling in my car had the skid plate fall and eventually break off letting her 5 hrs from home feeling stranded. They got the car right in and checked out the situation. They drove her to her appointment and fixed the car by removing the rest of the remaining plate and then tying up to secure what needed and then had the car ready when she returned. Instead of overcharging us, as most would they did not and were absolutely wonderful in dealing with both of us. I have seen some of the reviews not be great but the experience we had ranks the highest review I can give. More
Buyers beware I drove an hour to come and get an oil change because they had a good special online when I got there nobody came out and greet me. I walked in the service department. There was a female sitting behind the desk with her phone and she was texting, she looked up and said how could I help you and I told her to get an oil changed and she told me that they were book I arrive at 8:16 AM they open at 7:30 AM. She refused to give me service and there was only two customers waiting to get oil change , this is what happens whenever the owner doesn’t work there anymore Melissa Demontrond if she was there this wouldn’t happen. I am very disappointed at this dealership. More

The service dept for Hyundai is horrible. Had an appt for a warranty thermostat and it took 33 plus hours to get the vehicle. In the end, we picked up the car and as we were walking out the service tech says “ oh by the way, I forgot to tell you the front drivers tire has steel belts showing through.” This was at 6pm. We couldn’t even find a local tire shop open after that time. I will drive 100 miles to the next Hyundai location before I use this one again! More
