I recently purchased a Ford Ecosport from Davidson. My sales person was Mark Rupp and he was fabulous. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful but not pushy. I just bought my 2020 Ford Explorer at Davidson Ford of Clay. Jordan and Aaron made the experience both easy and efficient, and they were both personable, courteous, and extremely competent. I got a great vehicle at a very competitive price, and the process went smoothly. The buying process is something I've never been fond of, but my wife and I were both impressed with the ease and speed with which we were able to complete a process that we were NOT excited about. On 7/28/23 I call Davidson's Ford of Clay and left a message about a 2002 Ford Mustang GT convertible they had listed on there website. I received a call back from Matt Rupp and we worked out a deal for message about a 2002 Ford Mustang GT convertible they had listed on there website. I received a call back from Matt Rupp and we worked out a deal for the asking price, I gave Matt my credit card info for a deposit to quarantine me the car. I left my home and started the 3 hour drive to the dealership. I was less the a hour from the dealership when I received a call from a different salesman saying the car had been sold, I explained to that salesman that I put a deposit on the car at 9am this morning. When I arrive at the dealership the manager told me they decided to whole sale the instead of selling me the car. I explained that me and salesman had a deal and I expected them to honor our deal. The manger Jeremy Moore said he didn't care and they were not going to honor the deal. I even when back to the dealership after I filled a small claims case in Clay Town Court to see if they would give me the name of the wholesaler that supposlly purchased the car and they refused to give me the information. I then said they sold the car to employee and that is why they won't give the information on wholesaler and the manager Jeremy said so what if they did the car is not available. What makes even worse for me is my wife always want this style mustang and she past in May from a brain tumor. If this is how they treat customers why would anyone buy from them. More
