responded to an email advertisement from dealership ... they simply don't honor their very own solicitation ... their "real 0 down 329 a month crosstour in their email turned out to be a real 3500 down 379 they simply don't honor their very own solicitation ... their "real 0 down 329 a month crosstour in their email turned out to be a real 3500 down 379 a month opportunity .. what a joke ... their internet manager and sales manager we're all too comfortable looking me in the eye and lying right to me.. they apologized for the misunderstanding and eventually admitted they had no intention of honoring their email.. shocking it was just designed to get you in their showroom... don't waste your day like my family did expecting this dealership to honor their very own advertisement ... do yourself a huge favor call Bankston and drive to Lewisville to get the premium honda product at a fair and honest price. bankston gave me an honest quote over the phone and welcomed an opportunity to serve my family's vehicle needs. we are now happy honda owners again and enjoy passing mcdavid on the way to Bankston for service. I am so thankful a reputable Honda dealer is only a short drive from Frisco ! More
I recently bought a new vehicle from David McDavid and this was one of the best car buying experiences I've been involved with. My father owned a car dealership in the past so I know some of the "games" s this was one of the best car buying experiences I've been involved with. The entire team that I dealt with treated us with extreme professionalism throughout the entire process and we got a fair deal. I would highly recommend them and I definitely plan to use them again in the future. More
we loved the overall appeal of the dealership and the customer service. We really went just to look at the stock of CR-Vs but after speaking to Keith, he really made us feel at ease and we did end up buy customer service. I've had a Honda Civic for 10+ years --Honda makes an incredible vehicle! This year, I've considered replacing the vehicle due to mileage and considering we're at the model-year-end (good deals). I submitted for a quote online --they didn't ever send me any price, not even a price range. I had to pursue the salespeople to make an appointment --they weren't following up with me. When I got there, they didn't have any more 2010's in stock, but said that they would try to find me one. When I went in to test drive, they only had 2011 and tried to sell me that instead. Because I wasn't going to purchase a car that day, they still wouldn't give me a price --not even a price range! Finally, the manager came out, and he proceeded to tell me that there weren't any 2010's available in a 5 state radius?! However, I test drove a 2010 just the previous week in McKinney, so I know he was lying!!! I mentioned this and neither of them apologized for their error (because it was a lie). Since then, nobody has followed up with me since my visit --not either of them?! Car salesman already have a bad reputation and if the sales manager is encouraging untruths, he's just furthering that reputation. I would never return to this dealer --not if you paid me! More

I live in Houston but flew to Dallas to buy my new car, courtesy of the sales manager, Alan Cooper. Salesman Mo picked me up at the airport and drove me to the dealership. Alan had been straightforward on price via emails, and was able to beat any offer I received here in Houston, also adding a bunch of extras to the car. Because no one in Houston would be straight with me, lying to me about price and/or trying to charge extra fees, I decided to fly to Dallas to buy my car. I got the red carpet treatment from Mo, Alan, and James in finance, and no one tried to talk me into anything extra that I didn't want. I learned a lot this time that I will employ every time I buy a car: Go to Edmunds.com and find out the "True Market Value" of your car so you know what you should pay. Make an appointment with the sales manager before coming in, get the offer in writing with all the details of the car including extras, and also get the drive-out price to be sure that no extra "dealer fees" are tacked on. Find out how long the offer is good (get it in writing), then shop around. According to Alan, they can beat all other offers b/c they sell more cars than any other dealership in Texas. So, go to them last with your other written offers, and I betcha they'll beat it. :) More

If fact everyone we have worked with at McDavid Honda (Sales, Finance, ownership) has really lined up to make this transaction as smooth as any I've ever had when purchasing a vehicle. The post sale follow up has also been unbeleivable. After using the car for a couple of days we brought it back to have a steel coating allpied to the outside finish. Anthony came in (on his day off) to make sure everything was handled to our satisfaction. Totally a QUALITY TEAM!! More

He knew that my husband was ill and away from me down in Houston, even though my husband spoke with James several times, he took good care of me and my needs of the used vehicle. I do not know much about cars so I missed some things thaat were broke, like the antenna. My husband found the parts and I will get it repaired soon I hope. Miss my radio. As for financing the vehicle the interest was still too high. Because of my husband medical condition for the last 7 years caused alot of the credit problems. But, that is life and we go on best as we can. I just thank you you had a finance company who would help.
