Sam Saidian Saving a Sale I was looking to purchase my Sam Saidian Saving a Sale I was looking to purchase my first car when I arrived on David McDavid Honda of Frisco on Memorial Day 2013 I was greeted Sam Saidian Saving a Sale I was looking to purchase my first car when I arrived on David McDavid Honda of Frisco on Memorial Day 2013 I was greeted by a salesman who asked if I brought my mother to look at cars with me. It was actually my girlfriend which we both look 20 years old. The comment irritated us both, but I still wanted to look at the new 2013 Civics and test drive a car since I was between another car and a Civic. I was only looking for two features in the Civic, a sunroof and cruise control. We were taken to see a couple Civics without sunroofs and were told that it was too busy to just browse and test drive. By then I had enough with making the salesman feel inconvenienced by his actions and went back inside to find another salesman. Sam Saidian approached us when we arrived inside asking if we had been helped. We informed him that we were told it was too busy for a test drive and he assured us it was not and that he had plenty of time to find what I was looking for and take a test drive. After the test drive i was very pleased with the Civic EX Coupe ride and standard features. I was looking for the same Civic that I test drove, but wanted the color to be dark Grey. Sam searched the inventory and emailed me the specifications of the exact car that I requested. I went in with a monthly payment in mind that I would be happy with and Sam assured me that David McDavid makes deals happen. Do they ever! I drove off the lot that day after negotiating with exactly what I expected to pay. If you are looking to purchase a new Honda, I was very pleased with David McDavid and their very large selection available and had a wonderful first car buying experience. Sam Saidian was able to save a sale when he cared about what I was looking for in a car and was able to find it on the lot. Sam made me feel like he wanted to sell me that car that was best for me, and assure that I was very happy with my purchase. More

Once I was able to make a decision to purchase, the process was very quick and smooth. I had first came in to look at a used Honda, Selwyn was helping me, but then I came to wanting a new Honda; this is where it made all the difference, Selwyn still stayed with me and teamed up with Adam to helping me, but then I came to wanting a new Honda; this is where it made all the difference, Selwyn still stayed with me and teamed up with Adam to help me get in the car I wanted for the numbers I felt comfortable with. The finance guy was awesome (J. Lopez), he helped me understand all the documents and gave great advice. Lindsey and her associate (I forgot her name), in accessories were very helpful. Very disappointed with my experience there. It is a Circus with all the employees and staff walking around everywhere. You get hit from all sides by Sales Person after Sales Person when you have alread Circus with all the employees and staff walking around everywhere. You get hit from all sides by Sales Person after Sales Person when you have already been set up to work with someone else. The Sales Managers are the same way, I got approached by 3 of them! Seems chaotic in the lobby area. Not one interaction I had with anyone seemed of quality, it seemed robotic and just an activity they had to do on a check list or something. Didn't seem sincere. Rather than set you up for personal 1 on 1 attention with your sales agent in a private office you are instead herded into a food court looking area right in front of the front entrance where everyone can see you. You are consulted and negotiate with your sales agent at a high top circle table like you find at a bar. I felt uncomfortable and awkward and like all eyes where on me. I'm not sure why they do this? The dealership seems big enough to accommodate offices, but maybe not with the 500 employees it appears that work there. Waiting time to get a test drive took almost 30 minutes with my Sales guy running around doing 12 things just to get me in a car. Parking lot was cluttered and not well defined. Employee and/or customer cars were parked right along side brand new ones which was confusing. Pros: Good inventory, convenient location. I will not be purchasing a Honda from this location as I don't feel like suffering through the 3 ring circus known as the David McDavid sales lobby. Ownership and Management should seriously consider a softer less aggressive approach. Privacy and 1 on 1 interactions go way further than herding people like cattle into an area only to be harassed by everyone in the building. Sales Managers should not be interacting with customers so much, it undermines the sales reps and can make customers feel pressured. More
