We just bought a car at David McDavid Frisco for the second time. Just like the first time it was an easy process. They had the car we wanted. We paid the agreed-upon price with no surprise add-ons and second time. Just like the first time it was an easy process. They had the car we wanted. It had been a while since I last visited this dealership for service. I scheduled a 10:30 a.m. appointment for a basic oil change and tire rotation and even showed up 25 minutes early. I was quoted a tw for service. I scheduled a 10:30 a.m. appointment for a basic oil change and tire rotation and even showed up 25 minutes early. I was quoted a two-hour wait. After waiting two hours without a single update, I asked about my car and was told it hadn’t even been started — and that I was looking at at least another two-hour wait, with six cars still ahead of mine. When I asked for an explanation, I was told over 120 cars had been scheduled that morning, but that appointments were supposed to be prioritized ahead of walk-ins. That clearly didn’t happen. The only explanation that makes sense is that whoever checked me in failed to mark me properly as an appointment and stuck me in the walk-in line instead. The service tech’s explanation felt more like an excuse than an honest answer. After wasting two hours, I left without the service being done. There’s no reason for wait times like this, especially when other Honda dealerships manage things so much better. More
