YOU START ALL OVER AGAIN THE NEXT DAY AS IF NOTHING WAS AGREED. I WENT TO BUY ACCORD. AND WORSE OF ALL, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE SALES MAN LEFT TO CHECK ON A CAR AND NEVER RETURNED. AND THEN CALLED BACK 3 HRS LATER AND HUNG UP THE FONE IN LESS THAN 1 MIN WITHOUT APOLOGIZING. BY THE WAY, I WAS A SERIOUS BUYER, REFERRED THEM A CUSTOMER IN IRVING FROM LEWISVILLE, WHO BOUGHT THE CAR. HOWEVER, SEEMS LIKE A BIG MISTAKE NOW. BOTTOM LINE, NEVER EVER GO TO THIS DEALER. More
I had a pretty good experience with the dealership originally. However, they were supposed to replace the front bumper; and after driving back an hour and a half to pick up my van (and I got back hom originally. However, they were supposed to replace the front bumper; and after driving back an hour and a half to pick up my van (and I got back home with it) noticed that they did not replace the bumper. They had put bondo on it to fix it. So I drove back another hour and a half to take it back, very upset that it had not been done the way it was agreed to be done. Being told that it was the body man's fault as he thought he could fix it, instead of replacing it! I am not believing that story. Anthony is trying to make it up since it wasn't done right to begin with. So hopefully it will be right when I pick it up this time around! More
Be cautious when purchasing a vehicle from David McDavid Honda of Irving. I had found a car on their website we were interested in, and I requested an e-quote from the dealer. I received a quote (excludin Honda of Irving. I had found a car on their website we were interested in, and I requested an e-quote from the dealer. I received a quote (excluding dealer options) from one of their Internet salesmen, Austin Brooks. I never could get Austin to tell me what specific dealer options had been added to the car, so I decided to stop at the dealership on my way home from work one evening to take a look at the car myself. I met Austin and looked at the car. I explained to Austin that I would not be purchasing a car that evening, but my wife and I would be buying one in a couple of days (on a Saturday). Austin, after meeting with his sales manager, gave me a quote for the car that included the dealer options. He also added, since I would be coming back on the last day of the month, there might even be some wiggle room in that price. We made an appointment to meet Austin a couple of days later on that Saturday. This was less than 72 hours after I had first met with Austin. When we arrived at the dealership that morning and started to finalize the deal, he informed us that we could no longer purchase the car at the price he quoted a couple of days earlier. The new price was over $1,000 higher than the first one. Eventually, his manager Travis Quadlander came over, and confirmed they would not sell the car to us at the originally quoted price. Austin and Travis explained that the original price was only good had we bought the car a couple of days prior, when I had first come in. Interesting, since I had explained to Austin that we would not make the purchase until that coming Saturday, and he responded by saying that the price might even be lower on that day (given that it would be the last day of the month). Never did he say the price was good only for that day. It's sad these guys couldn't honor their quote that wasn't even 72 hours old. Feeling like these two guys were dishonest, we left and later purchased an identical vehicle from another Honda dealer. Although we ended up paying more for the car than Austin's original quote to us, we found the other dealer to be straighforward in their pricing, and much easier to work with. Later that night, at 8:15 pm, I got a call from Austin. He offered to make us a deal if we came back to his dealership and purchased the car that night (again, this is now at 8:15 pm, and we had met him that morning at 10:00). Who knows....maybe they hadn't met their numbers yet for the end of the month, and they were looking for a last-minute sale before they closed?? Even if we hadn't purchased another car, I wouldn't have done business with this group after our experience that morning. It's guys like this that give car dealers a bad name. More

Moiz took great care of us after a horrible (6-hour-long) experience at another dealership earlier that day. I let him know exactly what I was looking to pay, and the types of vehicles I was looking for. He experience at another dealership earlier that day. I let him know exactly what I was looking to pay, and the types of vehicles I was looking for. He wasn't pushy, and didn't rely on the slimy used-car-salesman tactics that most others do. He kept a great attitude and put up with how picky I was. It didn't take long to find my Nissan Versa. The negotiation seemed smooth and easy, especially without all the high-pressure "well what kind of payments are you wanting to make?" Really, I can't tell you how much I appreciate not having that shoved down my throat every 12 seconds. I absolutely LOVE my car, and I don't think I'll ever let it out of my sight again! Thank you, Moiz! More
I had a great experience working with kenny at David McDavid Honda of Irving couple of weeks ago. Since this was my first Honda purchase, I had plans on visiting multiple dealerships in DFW to get the b McDavid Honda of Irving couple of weeks ago. Since this was my first Honda purchase, I had plans on visiting multiple dealerships in DFW to get the best price/trade in. Luckily I picked David McDavid Honda of Irving first, Kenny did a great job from vehicle selection and representation to making sure I got the best price in DFW. They also gave me what I asked for on my trade in which showed that they are serious about doing business the right way and creating repeat customers. I really did appreciate how quick and efficent their staff is. I've dealt with other dealerships where it takes most of the day to complete this same trade in / new purchase transaction, that took half the time at David McDavid. With that being said, customer service was still outstanding. I had no doubts when I left in my new Honda that I got the best deal in DFW and definetely recomend Kenny Tobin at David McDavid Honda of Irving for the best car deal and purchase experience. Great job guys! More

Rude, Pathetic attitude & unethical behavior, worst customer services We did visit McDavid Honda at Irving to buy a pre-owned Accord and had one of the worst experience of our lives. The salesman hi customer services We did visit McDavid Honda at Irving to buy a pre-owned Accord and had one of the worst experience of our lives. The salesman himself was OK but his manager (Ronnie) was a total jerk and extremely rude. He basically told us that we don t deserve to buy a car. Being a customer we have the right to quote the price as per our budget. He said that our offer was too low even if went out to buy the same car from a private party. I am fine with that statement of his and maybe our offer was low. However, he went on to say that we had no sense in buying a car and that if we wanted to waste the time of his salesmen we shouldn t bother coming there. The way he talked to me and my wife, we felt very insulted. We were not putting a gun to his head to give us the car for our price, if it doesn t work for him and we could have simply agreed to disagree. More
