That's why they hold all my signed documents!!!!!! Because they can increase the price as they want!!!!!! That is the worst store I ever met. I am so regretful to buy the car from them. Unfortunately we were in an accident two weeks after getting our new 2016 Pilot. We were devastated, but Tony with David McDavid Collision Center and his team did an outstanding job! We were very lucky to get him assigned to us. His extensive knowledge, experience and unbeatable customer service made us feel very glad that we chose McDavid Collision to do the repairs up to Honda's standards. His guys are great. They really did things right and made the car feel new again. Their paint experts even have 30 years of experience (which is hard to find these days!) and did a beautiful job (on a tricky three part paint process color no less)! He and his guys even stayed late to make sure all the details were taken care of. He is passionate about Hondas like we are and cared about the craftsmanship like it was his own car. It is nice to know there are great places like David McDavid Collision center who you can trust to do a great job. Every experience we have had so far with the sales (Jesse Esquivel) and collision center have been wonderful. Thank you David McDavid Irving! More
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I worked all day over the phone, email, text, and internet to make a deal on a used Pilot last week with this dealer, and the terms of sale and trade- I worked all day over the phone, email, text, and internet to make a deal on a used Pilot last week with this dealer, and the terms of sale and trade-in were all worked out and agreed to before I would head to the dealership, as I live over 2 hours away. I would be missing my son's band concert to go sign the papers and get the Pilot, so I was clear to be sure everything was in order. I sent pictures of my current vehicle, payoff, etc....everything they asked for. I drove up to the dealership, and my salesperson came out and met my wife and me. I handed him the key to my car, and told him it was all cleaned out and ready to go and he could pull it in the shop if they needed to look it over. He said "No problem, let's go for a drive in the Pilot first". We drove it and loved it as much as we thought we would. We got back to the dealership, and started the paperwork. We had to fill a whole new app out as the one online is not official, according to them. We took the time and did that. we talked awhile, then he went into finance to make sure they were ready for us, and came back out to get us. On the way into the finance office, he said "Okay, I need to tell you something, but it's not bad. The trade-in isn't part of the deal." I was speechless. Not bad? To whom?? They had even told me the portion of the deal that was the trade-in when working everything out, and didn't say a word about anything until we were going in to sign the papers. It was such slimy, unprofessional experience, that I looked at my wife and said, "Let's get out of here". The sales manager called us after we left and said "I was probably working on several deals at once, it happens". Not even an apology! I went on their Facebook page and left an honest review to warn people not to deal with these folks. I got a call from the GM, Richard Schindler, asking me if I would remove my 1 star rating from the page! I couldn't believe what I was hearing!! Not only do they not care if they give a customer the run-around hoping to corner them into a deal different than what they had already agreed to, they had the nerve to ask that I keep it to myself!!! I then found out that Mr. McDavid no longer had ownership in the dealership for at least 10 years. Makes sense. I guess if the actual owner's name was on the sign, he might care more about doing such shoddy business. It's clear to me now why people use the term "used car salesman" when referencing a person with no integrity. I would definitely look elsewhere for your automotive needs. More
Bad experience from start to finish Last weekend, I made an 8am service appointment, and when making that appointment online, I listed out everything that was wrong with the car and what Last weekend, I made an 8am service appointment, and when making that appointment online, I listed out everything that was wrong with the car and what I would like to have fixed. I needed all new brake pads, an oil change, new spark plugs, a new vinyl console cover, and a diagnosis of a rattling sound coming from the front right tire (something was loose). I laid this all out and couldn't have been clearer. Well, I get there at 8 and give them my car/appointment details. At 10:30, I get a call from a tech saying "we decided to go ahead and inspect your brake pads and they look a little low. Would you like us to replace them?" *Of course, that's what I asked you guys to do it anyway* "We also noticed that the rattling sound was coming from your front right wheel and is due to a broken strut." I mean, did they not even read anything I put on the service appointment? They didn't need to research anything, I very clearly stated where the problems were. I'll get right to the point: I was at that dealership from 8 until 3PM!! Granted, I had opted to stay because I had work to do that I could just do there, but I was never once told that the reason everything was taking so long was because they had to sit around for 5 HOURS waiting on a part to come from Frisco before they could fix the strut. I had to cancel a weekend work event because I was sure I'd be out by 2, but instead I was waiting at a dealership that never told me the status of my repairs throughout the whole 7 hour process. All in all, this has been another typical Honda experience for me and has confirmed that I will never buy another Honda car. I'm $1,000 poorer and my brakes still squeak. I trusted this dealership due to the good reviews listed online, but my own experience was not up to par with those. P.S. The vinyl console was never fixed, but they gave me a quote on it. You would think they'd say something like "Hey, sorry it took so long and we left you out to dry. Come back next weekend and we'll fix it for you no cost". I'd feel a lot better that way, but nothing like that happened. I won't be coming back. UPDATE: Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, I found out I have a really bad tire. It's starting to deflate every day. Well, after a couple days, I'm getting tired of inflating the tires so I decide that I want to get the tire patched. I have aftermarket tires with a certain special wrench for the lug nuts, so I go to look in my glovebox for the wrench to change the tires and my tool is GONE. That thing hasn't been touched in over 3 years, and I specifically remember seeing it in there the day before my service appointment when I grabbed my owner's manual. Every other Honda dealership I've been to would leave the wrench tool on my drivers seat and I would always put it right back in the glovebox. A bit of an oversight on my part, but I was just so ready to leave that place that I forgot to check if the tool was even still there. I thought I had put this all behind me, and here I am, pretty much stranded and likely driving to a tire shop on 3 psi tomorrow. I need a drink... More
Beware: This is what gives car dealers a bad name After a lot of correspondence, I worked out a deal on a new vehicle with David Henry via email. He had all of my information on credit score, trade in After a lot of correspondence, I worked out a deal on a new vehicle with David Henry via email. He had all of my information on credit score, trade in, etc from the very beginning of the negotiation. He agreed to terms and promised to have all the paperwork ready and have me in and out of the dealership quickly. (Ha!) I took off work and drove all the way down there and the only thing that quickly started happening, was him backing out of the agreed upon deal, all the while applying the typical car salesman b.s. as the price ratcheted up. It was a total and complete waste of my time and I'll never be back. More

worst experience.. ill-mannered staff.. first of all i never knew about david mcdavid,we were about to buy a car in austin and one of my friend called me and told me about mcdavid as he purc first of all i never knew about david mcdavid,we were about to buy a car in austin and one of my friend called me and told me about mcdavid as he purchased many cars from them.. just because my friend referred us here we gave it a thought and one of the sales representative promised us he will beat that price what we are getting in austin then we thought we got the best deal.. Then we moved to dallas and called the sales representative many times but he neither picked our calls nor called us so day before yesterday we went there directly to meet him but receptionist said he is on leave and some other person came to help us and we are fine with him and even then they promised they may reduce 500 dollars on top of that.. we were so happy as we thought we got the best deal, the very next day when we went there the sales representative behaved like as if he dont know us and he said he never promised us anything.. do u people think we are fools,we lost the best deal in austin just by beliving ur words, and the person humiliated us so much by telling the quote which we got from austin looks like a quote from honda motorcycle but not from honda and he told us to drive back all the way to austin and buy car over there.. we felt so irritated that we just left the place.. let me tell you something for the person who is buying a car of $23000 extra $500 is not a big deal.. if you cant give us the price which we want then u can just tell us that, there is no need to insult us.. i dont know how u people run ur bussiness when u dont have any respect for customers.. i will never buy any car from honda.. thank god we didnt invest our money there..
