Then they tried to lowball me on my trade, that I had recently had appraised... let’s just say they padded it on the back end of the sales price. One I got into finance, Will is his name ... pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed me to try to buy a 24 month/24kmile warranty.. I didn’t want it, finally he worked a figure that would have made me pay 1300 for it, which was about half of what they asked for. I was cool with that. Next day I came into sign papers.. let’s just say the price not only went back to 2600 but he added another 5. Totaling to 2605. I’ve just emailed him to see if he is willing to change it, but I’m already 100% sure he won’t... I feel very exposed, like I got robbed ,”which I practically did” the car is nice , but I’m lying interest on that 1300. Oh and my sales men Chris Lu didn’t know a thing. Every question I had he referred me to the finance manager... I only even looked because of a 2000 or more cash back offer that was sent to my phone. But it was a hoax. He didn’t know anything about that either. I feel so scammed More

DO NOT BUY CAR FROM HERE Do not buy a used vehicle from these guys. They will definitely be there to sell you the vehicle and give you all the good customer service you want. Do not buy a used vehicle from these guys. They will definitely be there to sell you the vehicle and give you all the good customer service you want. As soon as you walk out of that door with that car you are on your own. I bought a 2013 BMW 335I from these guys. The car only had 53k miles on it. I drove the car off of the lot and thought the car was in good working condition. I was completely wrong about that. I only got to enjoy the car less then a month and after that the car ended up having to go into a repair center because the transmission cooler was faulty. I created a huge sludge mess within the cooling system and it messed up all of the radiator hoses and the system now needed to be flushed and the transmission cooler needs to be replaced now. The crappy warranty they sold me only wanted to cover the transmission cooler and a few small other parts. I am still having to fork out an extra $860 on repairs and I also have to pay $200 for the deductible which is understandable. I am also out of about $500 on a car rental since the shop has been having to fight with the warranty company to cover the cost. They had to repeatedly send out inspectors since they lacked common sense as to the damages and they still didnt want to cover what needed to be covered. Since this was an issue that I was having, I decided to contact the dealership to help me out with the remaining cost since i only saw it as fair since I literally was only able to enjoy the car for one month. After that it has been in the shop. I contact the place and they tell me they will get back to me. I try calling them again to get follow ups. They avoid my phone calls and don't return my calls after me calling them for about 4 days straight. I even email them and I still didnt get a response. I finally make a trip to the dealer and they see me and they tell me they will get back to me. I go ahead and display some patience and tell them that is fine. I accept the answer since they tell me they will be able to see if they can help me within the next few days. They get back to me and they tell me they cant help me and that I am basically out of luck since the car was purchased "as is". The car had such low miles and looked brand new and they still didnt want to help me with the car even though i just finished spending all of this money on a down payment and i also spend money on a car rental and now i have to spend money on repairs i shouldnt have to spend money on. They were not willing to help me at all even though i pleaded to them for help. They refused to help me. DO NOT COME HERE. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU ONCE YOU WALK OUT THAT DOOR WITH YOUR CAR. I HAVE PURCHASED VEHICLES FROM DIFFERENT PLACES THAT HAVE BEEN WILLING TO HELP ME. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU HERE. JUST A WARNING TO ANYONE THINKING ABOUT PURCHASING A VEHICLE HERE. More
not a great experience when you want to buy a car The sales lady was really nice and shower me the cars I wanted though she lacked the enthusiasm to say anything other than answer to my questions. The The sales lady was really nice and shower me the cars I wanted though she lacked the enthusiasm to say anything other than answer to my questions. The manager was definitely not pleasant. When you go to buy a car you need assurance and they should be open to talking to a customer and getting that opportunity. This guy was definitely not interested to do this sale and he told me that if I do not trade in my car (which I don't want to) or finance with them, they cannot make money anywhere to give me a chance for negotiation. Anyway, they lost their business and I went to McDavid Frisco who had amazing salesman and manager and they are willing to put that effort and help you make sure you are purchasing with satisfaction More

The drive home went very well, however, I heard rattling when I hit a bad patch on the street. It needs Strut assembly and come to find out the idling is rough in drive. I think they knew this when they sold me this car. I don't know that they did,but I would like to know. My name is Clarence and the salesman name is?Benson.Very nice guy, however I think I was taken advantage of the test drive on a short stretch of the highway. More
"Not my job" mentality Getting crappy service in a place where you’re spending less than ten dollars for a burger is one thing, but in a place where most people make their s Getting crappy service in a place where you’re spending less than ten dollars for a burger is one thing, but in a place where most people make their second biggest lifetime purchase, that is another. And, under any paradigm, good service can negate a lot of sins. All too often, the “it’s not my job” mentality is found everywhere. Congratulations, David McDavid in Irving! You win the award for that category. A few days before Christmas, my daughter bought a Nissan Leaf from the used car selection at David McDavid. Since then, she has had a few minor issues and brought the car to the service department, after making an appointment, to address these issues. David McDavid dealership sold a warranty with the vehicle, and one would hope to stick with one dealer out of convenience or loyalty, right? Well, the service department’s response was, “We can’t help you because we don’t work on Nissans.” (“not my job to care”, in other words). No one seemed to be the slightest bit interested in even being courteous, let alone, helpful in the miscommunication. If you sell a warranty for cars you cannot service, wouldn’t it be helpful to inform your customer thusly? I would think so. I would even give you points for honesty, to say that a Nissan qualified service department is where we should have taken the vehicle in future. In the future, my family will be avoiding any future business at your dealership and this review will be posted on as many forums as I can find. Thanks to the Don Davis dealer who stepped right up and offered the service David McDavid could not. On the Plus side, Patrick (aka. Thor), was very helpful on the date of sale. Although, knowing the psychology of car sales, it’s not saying much. More
Watch out on car pricing Thanks for all the reviews that prepared me well for what to expect. As it turns out, the bad expectations were fully met! There was an aggressive pri Thanks for all the reviews that prepared me well for what to expect. As it turns out, the bad expectations were fully met! There was an aggressive price on Honda CRV that had expired on 10/31. I had requested if they could hold the price for one more day to which I have in writing (text messages) that they would. After showing up at the dealership, the sales manager quoted a technicality that he didn't confirm and said they "could" which is not certain and that he could only offer me a price that is $2k more. When I challenged his commitment to me on text as I clearly asked repeatedly about price, he was pretty rude and unapologetic. The only reason I am writing this review is to do what others have done for me by sharing their experience. More

Once I got to the dealership, he handed me off to James Steele, who proceeded to tell me the car Sohaib said they had wasn’t anywhere on the property. James was then incredibly irritated, short, condescending, and rude with me when I didn’t want to buy a different car. LONG STORY LONG – I was looking for a specific exterior/interior color on an Accord LX. Sohaib had made an offer over the phone and said that if I could come in that night, he would have the car I wanted and would sell it to me at that out the door price; I understand that "over the phone" offers are not written, but he seemed sincere so I decided to take him up on it. When I got in, he handed me over to James Steele who then proceeded to show me the keys for the specific car that I wanted but said he couldn't find it anywhere on the property. I sat with him for a bit longer while he explained I could have any other Accord LX on the lot for that out the door price (none of which matched the color combo I wanted). After telling him I was sticking with the black/black combo, he said he could get the car from another dealership and have it shipped there. I attempted to ask him "If you can find the car, would it be at the price we discussed?" but he cut me off with "Oh I promise you we can find the car." My next question to him was "If I do go this route and the car is brought here, can I look at and touch everything before purchasing it?" to which he responded (very rudely) "Well, they're all the same,” before walking away. I found that to be incredibly impolite considering I was the one about to sink the money into a car that I had never even seen before. Throughout the entire conversation, James seemed incredibly short with me and irritated that I wasn't biting on buying another color combo. He then handed me back to Sohaib. During this conversation, Sohaib said that he couldn’t find the specific car I wanted at a different dealership, which was funny since James was so confident earlier that he would be able to find the car. When I explained that I would come back if they could find the black/black car they originally said they had, I would buy it for the agreed upon out the door price after taking a look at it (since it had been “lost,” who knows what could have happened to it). The conversation ended after that with me saying “Give me a call if you find the car,” and Sohaib responding, “Okay, bye.” I did happen to grab James Steele’s business card and it said “Most Admired Sales Professional” on the back because he consistently performed at the highest level while being professional and client-focused. Funny, considering the poor, unprofessional, rude, and deceiving experience I had with him and David McDavid. More
