They lied , simply they lied. I'm a 70 year old widow...Sold my home, buying a 5th wheel I traded in my Vibe car when I bought a used 2015 Dodge 3500 to pull the 5th wheel with f I'm a 70 year old widow...Sold my home, buying a 5th wheel I traded in my Vibe car when I bought a used 2015 Dodge 3500 to pull the 5th wheel with from Dave Smith Motors in kellogg Idaho. I got the paper temp tag taped in the back window. I had dealer installed leather seats in the front, dealer installed bumper step at the tailgate so I could get in the bed of the truck. I bought Husky Liners throughout, got the air bags installed at Les Schwab, got Siris trial for 3 months. My temp tag expired 9 days ago with no help from Dave Smith to get my permanent plates or even another temp tag for the truck. I was told that the previous owner of the truck didn't sign off on the odometer.This was suppose to be the holdup. I was told by Davenport WA. licensing dept. that I had to park the truck and not drive it. This truck is my only means of transportation. I paid the truck off through Ally Bank after finding out that what Dave Smith's Finance Manager told me that I could use Visa to make payments instead of the bank getting their hands into my account was Wrong...not true. He should of known that, right? I paid off the truck. Ally bank sent me a release of title they said. I haven't seen it. My previouse call to the Finance Manager when my temp.tag first expired, he said "Oh yes, here's the paperwork here on my desk! Im on my way over to to the Title Dept. right now and will hand it off personally" A few days later I call the title dept.at Dave Smith, she declined giving me anything because of paperwork. Even the court house in Davenport WA. called them twice to send a copy of the title so I could pay the taxes etc and drive the truck and once again, Dave Smith sent the same stuff to them without the title info to Davenport WA. NO WAY WOULD I DO BUSINESS WITH DAVE SMITH MOtORS in Kellogg Idaho. Dishonest and uncaring of anyone's situation except their own. Today is the 24th of July 2017. UNRESOLVED. STRANDED. NEEDING A LAWYER. The FINAL end of this mess with Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg Idaho ends with me not being able to get my meds at Fairchild AFB because I couldn't get plates and they would not renew my temp tag either, that expired on 6-15 2017 so I was unable to drive on base. The finance manager in Kellogg said as well as their head person in the title dept. that the previous owner did not sign off on the mileage. That is why I couldn't get title. ??? Excuse me, everyone has to sign a power of attourney dealing with vehicles I said, why don't you intital it.? The finance manager said due to Washington laws and Idaho laws blah blah...lies. None of that was true. This company put me out of not only being able to drive my only vehicle since being told to park it until I could get plates, but couldn't get on base to get prescriptions which lapsed and I cannot get for another month but while the truck sat I was paying premium insurance on it, my trial period of Siris, a month is wasted. The REAL situation that happened is, 4 days after I bought the truck Dave Smith Motors applied for duplicate title which takes 6 weeks!!!! They could of gotten a quick title for $31 in a couple days. But to save a few buck they put my health at risk and I was bar'd from driving an unlicensed vehicle. This is a 2015 Dodge Ram, not new but new enough for me. I would NOT RECCOMMEND buying into their 'bumper to bumper' warranty either. I called the warranty people about the steering column boot that was torn off and a foreign brogue speaking lady told me to take it to Les Schwab or Meinke or Truck Sales all of which were in Davenport WA. and all of whom knew nothing about this 'warranty outfit'. their lies lay before them...its not about you the customer, its about what they can talk you into. More

The sales person we initially talked to to help us find a vehicle was so incredibly helpful and kind. After we bought our vehicle there were some things that were very wrong with it that we were not informed of Because dave Smith did not know. After many hours on the phone with them, aka the managers, and being treated very rude, and like our situation did not matter, we finally were able to take the vehicle back. There's more things I will not share that happened. We were extremely disappointed with our experience and will not be going back. The sales person, Nate, who initially helped us and helped us a second time to find a vehicle offered us five star service. But his hands were tied as to how much he could do. More
