Horrific service department After receiving a notice of recall for my 2016 Ram Power Wagon I called the service department and scheduled and appointment. The service representative scheduled my appointment with the intent of ensuring the part had sufficient time to arrive. On the appointment date I took a vacation day from work and drove the hour and 45 minute drive from my home to Dave Smith motors. When I arrived I checked in and they told me it would be about two hours to do the warranty work. And hour later they informed me my part was not available. After two more hours of waiting and options being offered that we're not viable due to miscommunication within their department I was told that they would call me when the part came in and come pick up my truck to do the work. It's been over two months and I have not received a call. Worst service department I have ever dealt with and I will no longer deal with or recommend Dave Smith motors to anyone again. More

Best car buying experience! I've had a lot of experience with car dealerships in the past. There's always stress, sales pressure from the sales staff and finance staff to varying I've had a lot of experience with car dealerships in the past. There's always stress, sales pressure from the sales staff and finance staff to varying degrees and even though I ended up buying a vehicle I wanted, the experience was always one of regrets. Dave Smith is not like that at all. They're offering vehicles at discounts no one else is so they don't have to pressure you. The entire process was stress free, friendly and fun. Our sales person Dan made us feel like our happiness was his only concern. He worked hard to ensure our vehicle was ready when we got there and the paperwork was as ready as it could be. Our finance person, Steve made the paperwork painless and did a great job not pressuring us into anything weren't interested in. Its been 4 days since we bought our Jeep and we're still happy with our purchase and the sales process. We're going back in a few months to get another one. More

We had a great buying experience last summer, and our winter service was fair. But this time was really poor. It took us three days to finally get an appt. Along the way, a service dept woman hung up on us three different times. Perhaps someone there SHOULD listen to the recordings they talk about for quality purposes. For a long time we followed the recorded directions in punching numbers on the phone, and it would just lead us in a circle back to the beginning. Very frustrating. When we got to the service dept it was quick and thorough. We appreciated that. They have a shuttle that will drive you to a restaurant or such, and they also have a waiting room. Because of this part, we have a rating of 3. This week we get an email asking us for a rating if we can give them a 5. If not, they give us a number to call to discuss why we are dissatisfied. So we call, and get the same recording that we started with. No where does it give us a choice to talk to someone about our experience. We were not going to choose the service dept and get hung up on once again. Hence, we knocked a couple points off the overall rating. Dave Smith's has quality vehicles at good prices. But the service they promise you for two years is sketchy so do not let that be the convincing part of your purchase. More
