However, this was our first time buying from the Darlings Dealership in A Both my husband and I are no strangers to the dealership buying experience. However, this was our first time buying from the Darlings Dealership in Augusta Maine. We were introduced to Raymond Michaud, Nick Waddell & Jason Decker. Throughout the entire process ALL 3 of these gentlemen were extremely pleasant to work with, forthright and accommodating. We never felt like prey being swept down upon. They listened to us when we told them what we were looking for in a truck. We had a rather specific list of must haves and wants which they kept in mind when finding us that perfect truck. When it came time to talk numbers my husband and I were all prepared for the high sales push and were pleasantly surprised when what we got instead was a feeling that they were truly working hard at sharpening their pencils to come to a number mutually agreed upon even though that meant staying a little later after the dealership closed. We now have a wonderful 2014 Ram 1500 Crew Cab. Flash AND Brawn (with a few extra goodies) all in one truck! We would highly recommend Darlings to anyone looking for your next perfect vehicle! More

One Stop Shop It started at approximately 3:30 p.m. today with an Internet inquiry and by 10 p.m. this evening, I was driving into my driveway with a new Ram 1500 w It started at approximately 3:30 p.m. today with an Internet inquiry and by 10 p.m. this evening, I was driving into my driveway with a new Ram 1500 which is beyond what I had imagined. The sales team quickly returned my call, answered my questions and provided me numerous pictures of the vehicle I was inquiring about. While the dealership is close to an hour away, we decided to make a quick trip to look at the truck, certain that we would not make a decision tonight and honestly dreading the truck buying experience. From the minute we arrived at the dealership we were greeted and shown the truck we had inquired about. Jim Engelhardt was a great salesperson. He is very knowledgeable about the Ram trucks and showed us features that I would have never thought to ask about. He was very helpful and the most impressive part, it was low pressure and a real change from other dealerships we have worked with in the past. The deal was good and honestly I didn't even feel the need to haggle. I had done my research, I knew what I wanted to pay and Jim met that with his offer, we didn't need to play games going back and forth. While the dealership closed at 7 this evening Jim and others stayed well past that to make the deal happen for us, securing financing, cleaning the truck and filling it with gas, all in an effort to avoid having us have to drive back up tomorrow. In addition we had our dog with us and he was welcomed into the dealership and everyone made a point to come and spend time with him. This was probably the easiest car buying experience we have ever had and will certainly be doing business with Darlings in Augusta again. More

recall & squeak The Tuscon was recalled and that was taken care completely. I also had a squeak in the front end that was identified by the technician. The solution The Tuscon was recalled and that was taken care completely. I also had a squeak in the front end that was identified by the technician. The solution was to grease the part and it would be taken care of. The part was in good shape. When we left the dealership the squeak was gone. A few days later it was back. I remember being charged for greasing the part. I live in Winslow and I do not visit Augusta very often. Coming back takes time and now I will have to pay for more to TRY and find another problem. This is not likely to happen. More
