It’s no fun to go dealer-shopping for a new car, but we were fortunate indeed that when we went to Della Toyota in Plattsburgh, NY, the first person we met was Alex Duprey--- a member of the sales team. were fortunate indeed that when we went to Della Toyota in Plattsburgh, NY, the first person we met was Alex Duprey--- a member of the sales team. Alex, as it turned out over the next few days, was not so much a "SALES" person as an advisor and consultant. There was none of the “sign here, sign fast” pressure one often gets in this situation. Rather, Alex took the time to ask us—and actually LISTEN to-- the right questions as he helped nail down what it was we really needed, and then which of the cars on the lot or in transit was the best fit for us and our needs. In one instance, he actually talked us out of a car that seemed fine for us, introducing instead another that was a better fit for the long term—and there was no real difference in price for us (or profit for the dealership), just customer long-term satisfaction. reached out to Jerad when I was looking for a 2024 4runner TRD PRO. They did not have one allocated, but he kept me on the list if one came in. In August, Jerad reached out to me with a Terra 4runner 4runner TRD PRO. They did not have one allocated, but he kept me on the list if one came in. In August, Jerad reached out to me with a Terra 4runner that was allocated to them and expected to arrive in September. Jerad kept me in the loop of everything going on and let me know when changes occurred to shipping. The vehicle arrived on 10/3 and I went in to pick it up. Working with Jon was easy in terms of the financial piece and I was in and out of the dealership in under an hour. No markups and no pressure to purchase any add-ons.
