I purchased my Nissan Altima from Luis Montalvo. I was greeted with a warm welcome. Everything was very straight foward. They had the best price from the 5 dealers I shopped. Everyone was courteous and greeted with a warm welcome. Everything was very straight foward. They had the best price from the 5 dealers I shopped. Everyone was courteous and friendly. I met a manager names Albert. He made sure everything went smoothly. He answered all of my questions and even put the tag on my new car. I will do business with darcars again. More
To be fair, this dealership did have the best Internet Price in the 150 mile radius from where I live, and they did honor that price. This alone was worth it for me to buy my Nissan Rogue here. The rest o Price in the 150 mile radius from where I live, and they did honor that price. This alone was worth it for me to buy my Nissan Rogue here. The rest of the experience was very negative for me: 1) I knew exactly what car I wanted to get from the start and knew the price as well (since it was an internet price from cars.com and they dont negotiate below that price which was already very low). So I was thinking this would be an in and out process. Somehow they managed to keep me there for almost 5 hours by making me wait and passing me around from one person to the next. One person would fill out 1 paper, the next would explain one procedure, the next would do 1 small thing and so forth, and each time we would wait. They didnt have the color of the car we wanted so we had to come back 3 weeks later to get the car, and even to just pick it up after all was seemingly done took another 3 hours. Both times they totally didnt care about my time even after I told them 5 times I am in a hurry. 2) In the span of 3 week between when we filled out the paper work and when we actually picked up the car, I called them about 10 times for various reasons, and each time someone picked up they would say we will call you right back with the answer and NOBODY ever called back. Since I live 3 hours away from the dealership and cant just drive over, this was very annoying 3) Another thing is, their computer system was weak. They couldnt find my vehicle/sale information by my last name or vehicle vin number. They kept asking who is your salesman (which I didnt remember) and they couldnt locate my records. Then when the financing person wasn't there, they couldnt figure out if he already submitted my paperwork to nissan or will only do so once I physically pick up the car. This made it hard to know whether I have a papyment due real soon or I still have plenty of time. All this should be easily available in the computer system as soon as I tell them my last name. With all that said, Id be willing to thru this mess of a dealership to get the price that I got on the Nissan Rogue. More
This is the first time I purchased a Nissan Car. My family has always been using Toyota. I really like the customer service before, during and after my purchase. When I purchased my Murano, I also at the encouraging of the salesman, purchased the Darcars maintenance package. I was told it would be $800 or if I wanted a replacement set of floor mats it would be $865 the salesman, purchased the Darcars maintenance package. I was told it would be $800 or if I wanted a replacement set of floor mats it would be $865. I opted to get the latter so that as the car aged I could get clean floors mats. I called Darcars to redeem getting the floor mats and was told they have nothing in their system indicating I was owed the mats and that unless I had documentation they would be able to do nothing for me. Since they are the ones that sold me that rip off maintenance package, THEY are the ones that should have documentation. I paid nearly $40,000 for a car and they can't give me the lousy $65 in floor mats I am owed. The sales experience was a joke as well. I will NEVER buy another car there and will be spreading that word like wild fire in every avenue I can. More
I had my Nissan Murano serviced at DARCARS where they had to replace the faulted factory alternator under warranty. Several weeks later while driving at highway speeds, the alternator fell off the engine an to replace the faulted factory alternator under warranty. Several weeks later while driving at highway speeds, the alternator fell off the engine and almost came through the hood of the car had it not become entangled in the wires, hoses and belts in its way. The noise and jolt was frightening to say the least as the dash lights came alive. My wife and I were counting our lucky stars that we were not injured or worse if the alternator had come through the hood and windshield. We took the car to the nearest dealership from where it had broke down. They then called DARCARS immediately and spoke with Roberto after reviewing the records which indicated that it was indeed DARCARS that performed the alternator service. DARCARS at first denied they did the job.... Then after seeing the records, they tried to lay the blame on me because I am a mechanic.... We all laughed at that one... it was a sad denial...! The entire alternator assembly and mounting system was bent up and destroyed along with all the AC lines, electrical harnesses and hoses on that side of the engine. It took over a week for Nissan along with the dealerships to figure out what had happened and who would be responsible for all the damage. (It was determined that the service tech who replaced the alternator failed to tighten up the mounting bolts properly. He apparently "forgot to do it" after the rather lengthy recharging time of the AC system... a necessary procedure on this vehicle when servicing the alternator. The AC compressor needs to be removed.) It then took another two weeks to obtain all the necessary parts to finally repair the job. (You would think the service tech would have ordered the parts while the investigation was being conducted.... Not.) It's sad that Nissan goes through the trouble of making fantastic cars only to have them ruined by their service teams (in my opinion some are simply factory trained (blank) not worth a red cent.) So I put my foot down with this one and complained directly to Nissan Corporate. They claim they're fully aware of the quality issues regarding their USA dealer service network... another words they're just as frustrated with the system as we are. Maybe factory direct sales and service would work out better some day... until then... safe driving to you all and beware of some of those so called factory trained professionals! Take care More
I was able to knock down at least $4400 from the MSRP price. Then amazing thing was I still got Nissan $1000 rebate and special financing. I thought they were giving me a pretty good deal. I did go in be price. Then amazing thing was I still got Nissan $1000 rebate and special financing. I thought they were giving me a pretty good deal. I did go in because their ads. But I ended up getting different car with more options. Not that they pushed the sale..just the base model was not totally satisfactory to what I hope for my second car. The manager and salesman were nice. They were not busy when I went in the first time to test drive all different cars. I was there 3 hours but I did not make a decision to buy eventually. I went for another Nissan dealer just to compare their offers. Then, their offer was indeed the better one. So I went back the next day to purchase the car. They were busy at the day. I was there for another 3 hours. Over all, I am happy with their service. More
