On March 1, 2008, my wife and I went to Rosenthal Honda Fairfax, 11020 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA. We traded in our Honda Civic for a 2005 Honda CRV, CERTIFIED USED. They showed us the Carfax History Repo Fairfax, 11020 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA. We traded in our Honda Civic for a 2005 Honda CRV, CERTIFIED USED. They showed us the Carfax History Report & everything seemed great. (Sales person: Jesse Annis) I put $4000.00 down and drove away in my "new" Certified Used Honda. Easter Sunday, March 23, the car broke down. It was towed to the dealership Monday morning. The mechanics could not find anything wrong with it. On Friday, July 11, the car broke down again. We decided to trade it in and get a brand new car. Well, that is when we found out (through 2 different dealerships - Mazda, Fairfax and Carmax, Dulles) that the vehicle has FRAME DAMAGE because it was in an accident. Now the vehicle is worth $6200.00 LESS than what I paid for it (Paid: 17,700. Now worth 11,500). I called the Sales Manager, David Perrin. He lacks the appropriate skills, in my opinion, to deal with customers. He was condescending and rude. When I explained that the vehicle had frame damage, he was snide and sarcastic about the specific terminology of the Honda CRV frame. If the Rosenthal Honda Fairfax cannot determine that a Certified Used vehicle has been in an accident, or if they deliberately misled their customers, they should rethink what should be considered Certified Used. We contacted the General Manager, Cary Schwab, the Assistant General Manager, Bridget Wang - but neither would return our calls/inquiries. We've contacted the Better Business Bureau (Although, upon doing research, Honda Fairfax dealership is familiar with complaints. There have been 15 in the last 36 months/6 in the last 12 months.) and ABC7 on Your Side, to request an investigation. More
I went to Fairfax Honda because a friend referred them to me. I was told by my friend that this dealership is very good. I went to Fairfax Honda and received a very good price on a new Honda Civic. They g me. I was told by my friend that this dealership is very good. I went to Fairfax Honda and received a very good price on a new Honda Civic. They got me a low interest rate and my payments were within my budget. I also purchased the cilajet product and my Honda looks great! I didn't know a car can look so shiny until I saw a car with the same color than was new parked next to it. I usually don't buy any of the add on products but I am glad I bought this. It’s like wearing a new suit every day. More
I have been coming to this dealer for the last 6 years to get my 2002 Honda Accord serviced. I originally purchased the vehicle at this dealership and liked the way they conducted business. Their service st get my 2002 Honda Accord serviced. I originally purchased the vehicle at this dealership and liked the way they conducted business. Their service staff is very knowledgeable on the Honda product. My Honda Accord now has over 100,000 thousand miles on it and it still runs like the first day I purchased it. All the service has been done by Fairfax Honda and I am very happy with their performance. More
I bought a certified Honda recently from Fairfax Honda. Every thing went easy and problem free. David Perin helped me find a vehicle that was not even listed on the web yet and gave me a great price. Got to hand it to this dealer when it comes to getting your Honda fixed right. My honda odyssey had a ticking noise that would come up when the car goes to 50 mph. I had initially taken the vehicle to ano your Honda fixed right. My honda odyssey had a ticking noise that would come up when the car goes to 50 mph. I had initially taken the vehicle to another Honda dealer and they were not able to locate the source of the problem. The honda dealer in fairfax was able to fixed the issue and I didn't have to make several trips. Even though I work in Woodbridge, I will take my baby to Fairfax Honda from now on. More
Excellent dealer to buy your car from and sell your car to as well. I originally bought my first honda from them and have been using their service department. I have been going to fairfax honda for many to as well. I originally bought my first honda from them and have been using their service department. I have been going to fairfax honda for many years and feel very comfortable with the staff and the treatment that I received. Recently I traded in my "baby" and was very happy with the amount that I received for the car. I originally took it to Carmax and they gave me $7200 for my honda. Needless to say, I did not sell them my vehicle. I contacted fairfax honda and ask them if they were interested in buying the vehicle, and the manager asked me to bring it in. After inspecting the vehicle and looking at the service history of the car, they offered to buy it $9500! I accepted the offer and finalized the paperwork in less than half of an hour. When I decide to buy a new car, it definitely will be at fairfax honda. More
For a normal oil change visit, I was told that needs repairs that would have summed to $800-$900 of unnecessary repairs. The thought did not sound right to me, I took my car to another dealership and repairs that would have summed to $800-$900 of unnecessary repairs. The thought did not sound right to me, I took my car to another dealership and told there is nothing in my car and does not need repairs. They rip customers off and deny any wrong doing. More
I took my 2006 Civic in for the 10,000 mile service. From the porters who directed me to parking and brought my car back, to the young man who checked me in for the purple team, to the young lady who cashed the porters who directed me to parking and brought my car back, to the young man who checked me in for the purple team, to the young lady who cashed me out, everyone was very pleasant and very helpful. I dropped my car off mid-morning on a Saturday and it was finished by early afternoon. I was not able to pick it up until the next day, and that was not a problem at all. I was quoted $180 for the standard service but only charged $155, another pleasant surprise. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership and intend to continue doing business with them. More
I bought a vehicle from this dealership (Fairfax Honda) and 5 days later the vehicle broke down while in Philadelphia PA. It had been less than 500 miles. I had the car towed to a nearby dealership in PA and 5 days later the vehicle broke down while in Philadelphia PA. It had been less than 500 miles. I had the car towed to a nearby dealership in PA and the dealership we amazed that the car hadn't had a diagnostic servicing before it was sold. It had they would have know about the default in the car. The total service cost me $925 and it had been 5 days from purchase. I called Sales Managers Darrin Loudermilk and Dave Terrin to see what can be done. Darrin was somewhat understanding but Dave was very disrespectful and challenged me on the analysis of the dealership in PA. He then told me I had to follow up with his supervisor Michael Taylor. I have left two voice messages for Mr. Taylor and he hasn't returned my calls or messages. My next step is contacting General Manager Cary Schwab. More
this guy was horrible. he said "if thats the price you want, i dont want to waste either of our time" "i need to sell 3 cars today" "what is a reasonable profit to be made on a car?" "you cant run want, i dont want to waste either of our time" "i need to sell 3 cars today" "what is a reasonable profit to be made on a car?" "you cant run a dealership on that" overall, the experience was horrible. Car was hugely inflated and I ended up leaving after only 5-10 minutes. More
