I bought a Cadillac Lyriq from D'ella. They had the best price by far, and had everything ready when I arrived including terminating my Chevy lease. It was definitely a good experience. The entire sales staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and I was even able to purchase some protections from the finance department while remaining in my monthly budget. I would give 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend D'ELLA! More
I’ll start off with the good part first. My salesman, Matt Cowled was terrific. He was knowledgeable, honest and a pleasure to work with through my entire experience. If every other dealer besides Della goes out of business and you’re required to buy a vehicle here Matt is the guy to ask for. Now for the fun part… I ordered a truck back in October of 2021. As we all know nothing is quick these days so it finally came in at the end of May 2022. All was well throughout the ordering and waiting process. I was quoted $31k for my trade in February with the understanding that the value would likely go down some due to putting more miles on my vehicle. Understandable. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when my new truck arrives. At this time, 4 months after my $31k quote I am offered $21k for my trade in. That is $10k less! Nothing different with my truck besides the expected extra miles. This was the work of the General Sales Manager Micheal Tonks. He obviously knew I wasn’t leaving my without my new truck and figured it was a great opportunity to low ball me. When I told him I would be selling my truck elsewhere he attempted to sell my new truck that I ordered 8 MONTHS AGO to someone with “a better trade in”. Then proceeded to demand I tell him who was buying my vehicle for fair market value. To top it all off they charged me $400 to swap my new wheels before I picked up the vehicle. For reference, Walmart charges $25/tire for this work. The exciting experience of buying a brand new vehicle turned out to be stressful and unpleasant due to Micheal Tonks. DO NOT BUY FROM DELLA. DO NOT DEAL WITH MICHEAL TONKS. More
This past Saturday my family and I were in a car accident when a wheel on our GMC came off due to loose lug nuts that were not properly tightened by a garage downstate. Fred, Luke and Molly were incredibly when a wheel on our GMC came off due to loose lug nuts that were not properly tightened by a garage downstate. Fred, Luke and Molly were incredibly supportive! They were waiting for us when the flatbed arrived at the dealership, fit us in same day and got us back on the road within a few hours. They were so fast in fixing the issue that Fred kindly drove me back to the rental car agency to return a rental car that we didn't need. They properly diagnosed the damage and made sure we were safe and sound and good to go! All for a very reasonable price. It was a stressful day for our family and having such great people take care of us really went a long way in helping us make the most of a difficult situation. I can't thank them enough and wholeheartedly recommend the D'Ella team for your sales and service needs. Thank you again Fred, Luke, Molly and the entire D'Ella Team. More

On the second drive cycle (less than 10 miles driven since picking up the car from the dealership) the air bag warnings returned. This was their second attempt at fixing this same issue. The first attempt involved replacing the airbag clock spring. Within 10 miles of that, the "service airbag" warnings came back. Obviously Della did not test the repair. This time, they told me the driver's steering wheel airbag itself was faulty. So they replaced that. They obviously did not test the repair. On the second attempt, I was told that the service manager said that Zurich (3rd party extended warranty insurer) may not pay for another claim and that I'd be responsible. They did pay for the part but not the labor, which I had to pay. I understand this from Zurich's point of view. Why should they keep paying an INEPT service department to continue to GUESS about the diagnostics and repairs for an issue? As far as I'm concerned, Della should have eaten the labor charge and sent their mechanics for some remedial instruction in automotive mechanics. If they can't plug a computer into a car and be TOLD exactly what's wrong and what to do about it, there is no hope. They can't seem to find their way out of a wet paper bag. I may be being unfair though. It very well could be management pushing them to spend no time to properly diagnose and resolve issues. They obviously do not permit test driving following a repair. This is a pattern with Della. Besides this airbag issue, they've previously been unable to address two other very serious issues with braking and steering on this same car. Following the first repair attempt of this airbag issue, I asked if the car was safe to drive - would the airbag deploy for no reason? I was told it would not. I'm not so sure. I will feel as though I have a loaded gun pointed at my face every time I drive my car. More
